The Vendor was AWSOME, shipped the same day I ordered, and had a follow up email, however the watch is Garbage. All your data is cloud based, and the Suunto Site is often down, so Syncing is a real Pain. Additionally the App is awful, I tried to get the Movie option to work and it kept saying "Try Later" after 2 days it still wouldn't work so I call Suunto. They instructed me to remove the app and reinstall. I got off the phone and did this, and it didn't work. I called back and they said to reboot the phone, and the Movie option was still not working... then they said to reset the phone to factory defaults (no way I'm doing that). they took my email address and I never heard from them.

This is an incredible watch and it works like a dream. In my humble opinion this is the best combination of comfort and functionality. I also tried the one with the steel basel but I did not find it very comfortable. Trackback function is fantastic. GPS really works!! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this watch. I bought it hoping the Bluetooth feature would allow me to upload workouts that would sync with strava. No such luck. The first weekend I had it, it did not sync to either the phone or strava. I called and was told that there were server issues. They said it could take a day. Hours later, it synced.It happened again today. All my friends with Garmins who raced with me were able to upload their activities and the activities were then immediately visible. Hours later, after everyone had gone home, Suunto was finally able to upload my activity to strava.Side issue: when an activity ends, it seems to take the watch almost 30 seconds before it is ready to begin a new activity.I’m returning the watch and going back to Garmin.

i have ordered SUUNTO AMBIT3 PEAK (HR), However the item that arrive was SUUNTO AMBIT3 PEAK but without the SMART SENSOR., the item that i had paid for was the one with a smart sensor. i was also charged by my CUSTOMS and DUTIES almost the same amount with the item i purchased, it was so discouraging and a sad experience.

If you buy this watch, be prepared to have to buy a new wrist band on a yearly basis as long as you have it.

Orologio perfetto per monitorare diverse attività sportive, con una particolare attenzione alle attività in montagna. Personalmente lo utilizzo per bici, corsa, trekking. Ottima ricezione GPS, ottima e semplice la personalizzazione dei vari quadranti in base alle esigenze di lettura. Fascia cardio funziona alla grande. Durata batteria buona. Trovo molto funzionale anche l'app Suunto (tramite Bluetooth in max 5minuti dal termine dell'attività l'orologio si collega al cellulare e scarica l'attività) anche se ho letto parecchie recensioni negative se di essa. Sicuramente non di ultima generazione, ma per monitorare le diverse attività sportive secondo me è il top. Ancora da provare la navigazione di itinerari impostati, anche se senza mappe non ho grandi aspettative. Forse un po' pesantino per i specialisti del running, ma io che lo utilizzo prevalentemente attaccato al manubrio delle bici, con apposito attacco, non sono interessato da questo. Completamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Ci sarà da testare la durata ma sono fiducioso

PRODUIT EXCEPTIONNEL, UNE AIDE PRÉCIEUSE A TOUT SPORTIFIl y a une douzaine d'années, j'ai investi dans une SUUNTO X6HR.A l'époque ou il n'y avait pas de GPS portatif, la X6HR était ce qui se faisait de mieux.Capteur de pression, altimètre et contrôle du rythme cardiaque, téléchargement des données sur l'ordinateur...Et en plus de 12 ans d'utilisation, elle fonctionne toujours. Du ski à -30°c aux randos à +35, jamais une défaillance.(Juste un bracelet changé et 2 trappes à pile)Alors à l'heure du choix d'une nouvelle montre la marque SUUNTO s'imposait (avec capteur cardiaque).J'ai choisi la Ambit 3 peak parce qu'elle correspond à une bonne partie des sports que je pratique.Dans le mode sport, elle propose : course, triathlon, trekking, ski alpin, alpinisme, fitness, natation, course itinérante et cyclisme.Pour l'instant, j'ai essayé la course, le ski, le vélo et le trekking et elle est parfaite.De nombreuses fonctions se déclenchent automatiquement, pas besoin de farfouiller dans les menus. Cette montre a été conçue par des sportifs, ca se voit !Le module d'analyse des performances est très bien étudié et même sans déclencher le chono, la montre détecte votre activité.En activité extérieure, la localisation GPS se déclenche assez vite même sous couverture nuageuse ; et avec le capteur de mouvement, le suivi est bon même en forêt. Les mesures sont très réactives ; par exemple une accélération est détectée dans la seconde, incroyable.J'ai un peu peur de la batterie intégrée, de sa longévité et de son autonomie. Pour l'instant, 1h30 de chrono avec GPS et capteur de rythme cardiaque consomme environ 15%. La charge totale demande une petite heure. C'est correct.Aucune indication de la quantité de mémoire dans la montre.J'ai eu quelques petits soucis à l'installation du logiciel moveslink mais par contre une fois installé, ça fonctionne parfaitement. Le site est très bien organisé et les informations disponibles incroyables. Je trouve cependant le téléchargement des informations un peu long et la pince-cordon n'est pas des plus pratique.Les données sont intégrées sur le site de Suunto, movescount.Vous y retrouverez toutes vos performances ainsi que la localisation du trajet précise sur une carte ainsi que les données suivantes :EN GRAPHIQUE : Allure, vitesse, altitude, cadence, température, vitesse verticale, pression atm, EPOC, Energie, Fréquence respiratoire, VO2 estimée et R-R.En Chiffre : Distance totale, vitesse maxi, vitesse moyenne, temps de récupération, performance, pente, calories et cadence.Super complet comme vous pouvez le constater.Par contre, c’est pas super pratique d’être obligé de passer par le site pour récupérer les informations (par d’import direct possible entre la montre et le PC).Les données sont fournies toutes les secondes. Les formats sont XLXS, FIT, GPX, KML et TCX.La quantité de mémoire de la montre n’est pas indiquée ; pour l’instant j’ai environ 36 heures d’enregistrement.Aucune documentation papier fournie, il faut consulter le pdf.Même si beaucoup de fonctions sont automatiques, j'aurais aimé un petit aide mémoire des fonctions comme il existait avec la X6HR.Je n'ai pas encore tout testé mais elle semble répondre vraiment à toutes les attentes sportives et de sécurité comme par exemple de faire le trajet inverse en cas de brouillard par exemple.En mode sport, j'aurais aimé pouvoir choisir l'indication principale, ce qui n'est pas possible. Queria un reloj con GPS y pulsometro FC de buen calidad y buen precio. Pues me decante por este modelo de Suunto y estoy encantado. De lo mejorcito del mercado a un precio realmente bueno (ademas me toco como oferta del dia y lo obtuve en un precio inmejorable).En mi caso, practico el running, paseo por el monte, un poco de natacion y bici en montaña. Pues de momento me funciona excelentemente en todas esas modalidades.Tiene casi todas la funcionalidades y te da datos de casi todo de lo que te dan los demas relojes que estan en el mercado. Ademas, por si echas en falta algun dato, puede que encuentres para descargarlo en el soporte de Suunto. Por ejemplo, en mi caso he descargado para que me marque el desnivel de la cuesta. Para eso, sincronizas el movil con el reloj mediante bluetooth y al descargar al movil lo pones en las pantallas para que te visualize ese dato.En cuanto al GPS, no tengo ninguna pega, ya que lo busca muy rapidamente y ademas puedes elegir tu el intervalo de registro de GPS que quieras.La banda de frecuencia tambien se conecta sin problemas y rapidamente.Es verdad que hay relojes mas atractivos esteticamente, pero yo en mi caso no le he dado importancia a ese factor. Ya que a la hora de practicar hay cosas mas importantes que eso. Por ejemplo, al controlar el reloj mediante botones, te evitas que cuando llueva haya algun problema con la pantalla tactil. La pantalla en color si que estaria bien, pero bueno, entonces ya te vas a un presupuesto bastante mayor. Ademas esos dos factores hacen que la bateria aguante mas, ya que tienen un consume mucho menor.Puedes cambiar los datos que quieras que visualicen mientras estas practicanto un deporte o otro. Eso no se puede hacer por el propio reloj. Hay que descargar la aplicacion de Suunto Movescount y al conectalor por bluetooth puedes hacer los cambios y luego sincronizarlo. Estaria bien poder hacerlos por el reloj pero bueno, en mi caso no es niguna molestia tener que hacerlos por el movil.Para ponerle una pega, en un viaje que hice en avion, apague el reloj y luego no pude encenderlo al no disponer el cable de alimentacion, ya que fui con suficiente bateria y no creia que iba ha necesitarlo.En resumen, recomiendo este reloj por el precio y la calidad que tiene a aquellos que no esten dispuestos a gastar el precio que tienes los modelos nuevos (que son muy bonitos esteticamente pero en cuanto a funcionalidades no hay tante diferencia como la que hay en el precio) y quieran que les sirve para muchos deportes y tener casi todas las funcionalidades que tienen los relojes nuevos de alta gama.

Habe die Uhr nun seit 2 Jahren in Gebrauch und bin absolut zufrieden. Der Akku der Uhr hält selbst bei der genauesten GPS Stufe noch nahezu ewig. Im Alltagsbetrieb hält der Akku mehrere Wochen. Das Display ist scharf und kann auch bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung noch gut abgelesen werden. Die Bedienung der Uhr ist relativ einfach. Die Einstellungen können bequem über die Handy-App oder dem PC vorgenommen werden. Ebenso die Anzeigen, welche während der Aktivitäten angezeigt werden, können so einfach den persönlichen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden.Zur Übersichtlichkeit der gemachten Touren, kann man bereits beim Starten der Aufzeichnung eine Aktivität auswählen. Nach dem Synchronisieren mit Movescount kann man dann noch sein Gefühl nach der Aktivität, das Wetter, Notizen, Tags, etc. eingeben und hat somit ein Sporttagebuch mit allem was dazugehört. Einziges Manko hierbei ist, dass man in der Übersicht immer die Aktivität als Überschrift angezeigt wird und nicht der Name der Tour o. Ä. Außerdem kann man leider nicht nach einer Bestimmten Tour suchen.Technisch ist die Uhr Top. Das GPS ist, bei dementsprechender Einstellung, äußerst genau und weicht nur ganz selten mehr als 10m vom tatsächlichem Standort ab. Auch die Höhe stimmt meist auf wenige Meter genau.Die Uhr und der Brustgurt sind angenehm zu tragen und fallen so gut wie nicht auf. Außerdem sind beide Teile wasserdicht und somit leicht zu reinigen, wenn man mal etwas geschwitzt hat oder die Uhr ein wenig Dreck abbekommen hat.Abschließend kann ich die Uhr nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Ich bin wirklich äußerst zufrieden mit dem Gerät und werde sie auch so lange wie möglich behalten.

I bought the Suunto Ambit Peak 3 despite the many warnings on the internet about it's connectivity problems with Android devices, as I thought the problems may have been ironed out by now, almost two years after the watch's first appearance. The watch itself is solid and reliable and does what it is supposed to do. The display is somewhat limited and dour compared to the latest Garmins, but then the battery life is very good by way of compensation. The accuracy of the GPS, compass, altimeter and barometer are reasonable for a watch, too. Unfortunately, the Movescount app and daily connectivity problems drove me round the twist in the end. I was having to re-pair the watch and app every day, sometimes four of five times a day and, even then, connectivity was often patchy and limited. In the end, it stopped pairing entirely, and I had to send it back and get a refund.Update: 19NOV2017Since returning this watch and leaving a three star review, I have tried one or two other brands, but none were as accurate or as clear to read and navigate as the Ambit Peak, or had such a good battery life. I noticed a few weeks ago that there had been a major firmware update, and so I bought the item again. I have to say, the watch is almost perfect now. It connects with my Android phone easily without any fuss at all. The watch is comfortable, the dial clear and easy to read, the functions simple to navigate, and the accuracy is excellent. There are some nifty little features on the Movescount app, too. I have had the watch a month, and have charged it only once since the first charge. It's still on 37% after two weeks. Admittedly, I have only used the GPS tracking features for about five hours in total, but all other features have been used regularly. In short, a great watch, perfect for what I want. Don't forget to update!
