Abbott L-Shape Computer Desk with Bookshelf, French Oak Grey/Black

I’ve seen mixed reviews as well as people complaining so I figured to jump in on the discussion. For the price it cost I am completely satisfied with this desk. The size is perfect to fit in a small space and has good amount of desk, and shelf space to get the job done. Some of the screw holes didn’t line up so it forced me to improvise on the assembly. Other than that everything came very well packaged, no messy styrofoam, or chips in the wood. It’s a bit thin and wobbles a bit, but definitely will get the job done and is worth the price. If your looking for a long term desk or something for multiple monitors I wouldn’t suggest this one, but if your a student or looking for good workspace to get things done then this is well worth it. I can see myself eventually reinforcing the wood and screws, but you get what you pay for. It gives a nice smooth look to the room and nice space to work on a computer and use a notebook at the same time.

Its a nice desk and having the side shelves was a good touch to put my books and other miscellaneous items. However there was one small dent in the wood that made the top part of the desk, nothing too big as it isn't too noticeable

I just became an assistant manager at my job and I have a small area for A office! This is perfect for my small area and even while it’s put together, it is very light and easy to move around. The legroom is OK. I’m about 5’3 and it’s a good size for me. I would not recommend this for anyone taller than at least 5’5-5’7 at least. The top of the desk is coded with a type of paper so if you were to put a heavy duty type of tape on it, it will rip (with I did by accident)! But other than that is very decent and perfect for a small office space for work or home!

Honestly it’s a pretty desk, spacious too and bigger than i thought. Assembly was not that easy to do all by myself. However I will say there’s lots of chips on it, definitely not aesthetic and the absolute mess the styrofoam made was horrid. When all is done tho it seems sturdy. Also it is pretty heavy.

Was easy to put together and come in without any issues! I saw a lot of mix reviews but I’m happy with it. It’s steady and great for the price!

Ok. So first of all let me say I am basically a pro at assembling anything. Everyone calls me for help in these kinds of situations. With that said, let start with the packaging. This box was literally filled with broken styrofoam pieces. All I could do was chuckle at how insane it was. Think of your kid taking a styrofoam pieces and crumbling it into pieces, leaving some larger pieces and just and entire mess to clean up. Yeah, that’s what it was stuffed with. HUGE MESS! Whatever, I got passed that and just figured I’d be finding random styrofoam around the house for the next year. No biggie. Then comes assembly. The instructions are very clear, no problem. This was going to be an easy assembly. Boy was I wrong. The holes do not match up to the other parts holes correctly. The screws literally just fell out of desk as I was working on another part of it. When they did match up to the holes on one side, the other side didn’t, which ended up making the screws completely rip out of the top (decorative) part. When I thought the nightmare was over and I go to flip it over, tons more screws came out again and the ‘L’ part of the desk was slightly crooked 😂. I can’t help but laugh hysterically at how awful this product is. I now have to go get screws that will actually fit into it and not fall out, and try to jimmy the L of it and make it stay in place with add on holes I’ll have to screw in. And hopefully that will work. Who knows if this thing will actually hold anything on it 😂. Very disappointed. I’m a single mom with a low paying job which I’m working on building up, which is why I needed the desk in the first place and it took me a year to save up enough to get even this one. I’m desperate at this point so I’m hoping it will at least hold my computer on it and get me by for now.

Would recommend good quality

Good quality feels a little wobbly though definitely had to use glue for extra strength but holds really nicely love the size and height perfect for a small room or someone who doesn’t require a huge set up just somewhere to draw or do a little paperwork and use a laptop

Got my desk and although it was in pieces it was SUPER easy to assemble. It looks perfect in my office not too big at all and does not take up a lot of space. I'm super happy with it :)

Very happy with this. Does the job and looks really nice. Fits perfectly where we wanted it and has enough space for our cat to sit alongside it 🤦‍♀️😂 (that wasn't why we got it, but she does like it too!) Can't fault it
