These ThinOptics reading glasses are amazing. They are extremely lightweight and clip to your nose quite comfortably, with a shape that allows you to see over the glasses if you need to look out to farther distances. The design of the glasses is such that they don't have a front or back, you can wear them with either side of the lenses facing your eyes. They come with a tough, thin case of hard plastic that they slide into securely, it seems that the edge of the thin frame around the lenses is slightly thicker than the lenses themselves so they do not get scratched up. The optical quality of these ThinOptics readers is exceptional. The lenses are at least as crisp and clear as any others I have tried, similar but perhaps slightly better than the readers at boutique optical shops. They clip to your nose via the springiness of the bridge, as can be seen in the product photos, and the nose pieces have a kind of abrasive, sand papery texture that gives them a good grip on the skin. You can adjust them to what position on your nose is most comfortable for you and how much pressure/security of a grip on your nose you want them to have. There is a bit of an art to finding the point of pressure that is the minimal grip while still being secure. I have quite sensitive skin and have done okay with them, they are comfortable, but I haven't worn them more than an hour or so at a time (usually much less), so I don't know if they would become irritating or not if you were using them for longer periods of time. I wish they gripped the skin with more of a sticky-rubbery surface rather than the abrasive surface, but it's possible that such a surface would simply be ineffective for many people. For my purposes they have been amazing. Even if someone didn't find these comfortable for longer use sessions they would still likely be extremely satisfactory as readers in a purse or pocket when out and about, as they are so small and do such an exceptional job. I've had them about a month and could hardly be more pleased with them. FIVE STARS

These reading glasses are amazing. The case fits on the back of your cell phone nicely and is about 1/8 of an inch thick, including the glasses. I think the glasses are about 1/16th of an inch thick if that, and super lightweight. They also grip your nose very well and will NOT fall off. I showed my mom and did a short video of me shaking my head vigorously in every direction and they stayed firmly in place, she was impressed too. They are very comfortable, and I tested them reading a pretty small font bible for about 3 hours and they did perfectly. HIGHLY recommended if you are tired of having to use your phone's camera every time you go into a restaurant in order to read the menu. These are very, very well done. They are so thin you can use them as a bookmark, they're worth buying. UPDATE: Still awesome, everyone asks where I got them when I use them. Absolutely fantastic product. Of Note, I've had mine a couple months now and did not experience any of the "easily scratchable" issues I've read of in some of the other reviews. Get the case so you can keep them on your cell phone, trust me.

Great glasses. Stuck the case to my cell case and they were always there when needed. Problem was the glasses case prevented me from inductive phone charging so I had to remove it. Case also kept breaking so I don’t use them anymore

I bought one pair of this reading glasses a year ago. I sticked the case on the back of my cell phone so I could always have it whenever I needed as I was just like nowadays people always had their phones on hand. The case with the glasses is very thin and light weight so it doesn't make my phone too bulky. However a big concern is not like the pictures and video shown on ThinOPTICS, when I put the glasses on my nose, it does not sit firm on the position (upper part of nose with bone under skin) where I have best angle to read. It is the nose bone that causes the legs of the glasses cannot clip on firmly and very easy slip off. So I can only clip it a bit lower where has no bone underneath. It turns much help but I am still better not to move my head around too much/fast. But then it limits my view through the glasses in a very low angle. I have to always raise up my head and look down to read, especially when reading newspaper or a book of larger in size. I am an Asian, I don't know whether it is because the noses of Asian and American are different shape in some points which causes my problem. I hope ThinOPTICS can improve legs/clips of the glasses, or has different design fit for Asian noses. Other than this, I regard this glasses is nearly perfect as it is very handy and useful when reading bills, cutting a check and etc. So I have just bought 5 pairs more as gift for my friends.

The glasses are unbelievably lightweight and even when in the case, so compact that you can fit them in any pocket. A couple of things to be aware of with the glasses themselves: 1) Common sense tells you that you need to open them as wide as they will go when placing them on your nose. This caused some pain and left marks on my nose. In time I realized you pretty much just set them on your nose without opening them. That is sufficient to keep them in place unless you laugh, chew, or sneeze. They tend to drop off or hang at an awkward angle when any of those things occur; 2) They are so small and clear that when dropped on carpet it can be extremely difficult to find them! The real issues I experienced have to do with the case: 1) The case is very sturdy but the plastic is so rigid and the opening so small that it is always a struggle to get them in the case. This led to the rigid case slightly scratching one of the lenses; 2) Within a matter of weeks, the constant struggle to get the glasses in the case caused the glasses to snap in two at the area that goes over your nose. The manufacturer needs to redesign the case. I thought about purchasing another pair but knew I would still have to deal with the case. So, I went back to using traditional reading glasses. If you purchase these, I would recommend throwing out the case and finding something else to store them in.

These little reader glasses are the greatest. Truly love them.

I’ve been using “cheaters” for years—I like wearing contacts but can’t read fine print with them. I’ve had a small pair of foldable reading glasses in a small case, but it’s something I needed to carry on a bag or in my pocket. Small though the case is, it’s still a little bulky in a pocket. These flat readers with the small case attachable to the back of my phone are the perfect solution! Case is securely attached, and I can carry phone with glasses case in my back pocket with no issue. Bonus: wireless phone charging works even through the glasses case and protective phone case! The glasses themselves work perfectly. They fit snugly on my nose in a variety of positions. Since I almost always have my phone with me, I now have glasses with me all the time. My wife likes them so well that we bought 3 more pairs for her and her sisters. Too early to tell about durability and scratch resistance but so far they seem solid.

These are excellent, 4th pair I have bought. With high use they get scratched and eventually snap on the bridge but that’s after a lot of use! I think they are great and will continue to use. Stuck to my phone which is always with me so always have glasses 👍

I LOVE these type of glasses a modern "pince-nez" great if like me you can't read close up anymore but have great distance vision they fit snugly on bottom of your nose leaving a HUGE field of view but are in just the right place to read and are more comfortable than reading glasses and popping glasses onto your forehead all the time. With them being tiny and on your phone you usually have them with you. They usually last a couple of years and when they eventually break they are still great as soo flat I pop one in my wallet or snip them and mount them in my dive mask. I wish they sold these everywhere - Better than normal glasses and soo thin. A sunglasses version like Neo in the matrix would be cool too i wish they'd make that.
