My first time owning and using a grill mat. I did some burgers and chicken on my grill mat and very pleased with how my meat turned out, the burgers were very easy to handle on the mat and they cooked evenly throughout, the chicken was also exceptionally done, no charcoal burn mark just as a uniform color on the outside and moist on the inside.Oh! cleaning up was easy as 1-2-3 and most importantly I didn't have to spend any time cleaning the grill and the burner guards as no oil or fat got stuck to them.

The Grillmatic Mat is a useful item and does a good job of helping to keep your grill from flaming up. However, it does not give your meat the grill marks and flavor you associate with grilling. Steaks doe not char and flavor is not quite like you get on the actual grill grate. We use it for chicken, vegetables, fish, etc. but not steaks or pork chops.

I wanted a cooking surface for my portable propane grill that would be easy to clean and not have food stuck to it. The grill mat meets these objectives when I used it the first time. However, I never really wanted to reuse the mats. Instead, I bought a new grill and just wash it thoroughly after each use. I have no complaint about the grill mats themselves...just that by not being a lazy giller and cleaning the darn grill I have more satisfaction. Who knew?

We had both the black, these grill pads, and the copper grill pads, very similar and supposed to do the same thing. The copper grill pads took forever to heat up to a grilling temperature, and made us use more propane just to get a grilled meal cooks. The black pads heat up evenly, quickly and work better, they also last longer when a flame hits them too.

They came 2 to a box. One I'll use to cook on my grill the other I'm using to cover / protect the grill on my kitchen stove. They don't make a stove grill cover that I can find. It cleans very easy and it's a great protection.

The GRILLMATIC Grill Mat exceeded my expectations. The mat made grilling easier as there was little to no cleanup and the quality of the food was excellent. I definitely recommend getting this if you are tired of cleaning your grill after every use or you’re tired of food falling through the grill grate. Definitely worth the money.

I wanted a product I could put on the grill and grill fish without it falling apart. I now use it yes for fish but also vegetables and it works wonders. I also found that you don't have to keep such a close eye on the grill because it disperses the heat rather than being a direct heat.

Does everything as advertised. Love how easy it is to clean and no more scraping grates until your fingers are numb.
