It is a very nice product. It does what's advertised VERY bright and light weight. Strong magnet and strong flex. VERY satisfied!!!!!

Apparently I like lights . . and I like this one. My high school physics teacher taught us that the intensity of light is inversely proportional to the square of the distance . . at twice as close the light is four-times as bright. Lost your keys . . stick this under the bed and you might be surprised what you find (beside dust bunnies). Concentrated light in remote areas . . including under the hood or other places with secrets. Three things so-so: the magnet is good, until you screw on the bendy wand, then it is marginal; the hi-low switch works, but seems like it should be on the main body (you instinctively seem to search there for it; and would have been nice hi-med-off, instead of hi-off-med-off, you don't always know what setting you're on), but the Supreme Frustration is the screw-on battery base cap. I have Duracell 2500mAh AAs, so shouldn't be a problem anytime soon. I could understand every comment others made; it can be frustrating to re-attach the base. I examined my old Maglite for an explanation, but didn't find anything definitive. They both have fine threads with lead-in shoulder . . although I just tried the NextLED and it didn't fight me as much this time (maybe the silicone grease helped). Overall I like it in my specialty light box. I haven't had occasion to use it much but it's good to know it's there for when I will. Seems well made but should be treated with some respect (all that bendy stuff is good, until it isn't).

This is the flexible-neck LED light that does it all: HI-LO brightness, fully flexible neck that holds its shape, and excellent AA battery life. The HI setting puts a lot of light on a subject, which I use for furniture forensics, inspection of my crawl space and under the deck, and in my F-150 truck. The adjustable lens concentrates the light or opens up to a very clear spot. The magnet on the handle is very strong and handy, and the light functions fine in wet environments. The LO setting has been useful for most uses, and extends an already long battery life. If you are not convinced already, then I’ll add that this light has the Next-LED CREE LED, which I believe is the best in the industry!

The long flexible gooseneck and the adjustable focused spot on this light makes seeing deep inside electronic equipment easy. No more struggling to see components, or holding a small flashlight in my teeth! A couple of pieces of scrap steel makes the light easy to move around and position where it’s needed. And it is not too big or bulky that it gets in the way of doing work inside the equipment. It is bright, but not too bright. The build quality at this price is excellent too. I like it so much that I am going to order another one!

Worked great for about 6 weeks, and button stopped working. Will not shut off and button seems to have moved under the rubber casing. Was being used as a flashlight for washing machine when the door is open magnets worked great to hold light at door, but disappointed the button stopped working

I build/update PC components and I often found myself yearning for a more focused light beam in tight accessible areas inside the PC case when upgrading and or detaching/attaching internal cables. After extensive research for a handsfree work light with a focusing beam and magnetic base I finally decided to give this one a shot and I am most happy with my decision. First off, this light is bright and can project a narrow light beam directly on the area you're working on. The magnetic base is strong and can be positioned horizontally or vertically with no fear of it detaching itself from any convenient magnetic surface. The roughly 17.5" gooseneck is flexible yet sturdy and the firmly attached magnetic base assures it won't wobble. Initially I had a bear of a time opening the battery compartment, ending up using an adjustable wrench (with a washcloth to protect the surface from damage) to get the cap off, but since doing so, I assuredly don't overtighten the cap when replacing batteries. Estimated battery life is between 8-17 hours, depending on the level of brightness you use. I'm using rechargeables which work great using this light. In summary this is a great purchase and I have no regrets in anyway. Highly recommend!!

This comes in very handy whenever I am in need of a bright little flashlight with a strong magnetic base. The flexible neck helps to direct the light to where it's needed.

Extremely well built. Firm and flexible at the same time. Great light adjustment. cheap for its quality.

I use this as part of a telescope rig. I cover the light with a spot of red tape and use it to light a setting circle for a Dobsonian telescope. The flexible shaft is long enough to reach anywhere within about a 12" radius - far more adjustability than I actually need, but it will be able to adapt to future needs, no problem. Since this is placed at foot level, I greatly appreciate that the magnet is strong enough that I don't dislodge it by bumping with my feet. I can imagine many other uses for this - automotive repair, crafts, electronics, etc. This is the kind of light that you will find uses for.

A great light for highlighting craft work

This work light is just what I needed for working in tight spaces where I need both hands free. It is made from metal not plastic, the magnet is powerful so it really grips without slipping and the light is very bright. A perfect product, I am very happy that I chose this one.
