Anti-shock most comfortable
Like the cork handle treated to not be as absorbent as a previous (which was stolen) cane. Handle is slightly smaller but works for my hands. Light weight. Since I use two to walk this makes a difference. I wish my previous Chinook technical was still available but since it isn’t, this is the best in my opinion. Two canes give me stability and keep my back straighter. The anti-shock feature is a must for comfortable walking. It reduces the pressure on hands and shoulders. I ordered the set of two but only one was in the package. Amazon chat assistant is sending me the other and was very easy to use and complete my inquiry. Thanks Sydney! I got the other pole quickly and have now used over 2 year. The cork handled are closer grained anf hold up better than another cork handled cane that I have. I am 5’8 and was 180 pounds but have lost down to 155. I use the canes everyday. They are strong and sturdy in all terrains. I have changed the foot to the l shaped foot and like it better. It needs a better foot on ceramic tile floors where it may slip. The treaded L shape works well. In two plus years I have only fallen once and that was on tile and before I got the better foot. The tip had also worn through to the metal, something to check more often than I had done- my bad but luckily I went down slowly due to the two canes and wasn’t injured. Still like these sturdy lightweight canes.

Nice and light, very sturdy.
Nice and light, sturdy and easy to collapse for packing. I've been quite happy with this item, using to rehab a replaced joint. The hands might be a little small for someone with very large hands.

Great Cane Great Price
I use two of these canes and they steady my walk. I had polio as a kid (anybody every hear of polio!?), and my right leg is weak. These enable me to walk further and safer. For years I purchased only Komperdell canes, which are almost 3 times more expense, and these are comparable. They are completely adjustable, and can be shortened for packing into a suitcase. I use mine on land, so the variety of tips is very useful. For extra traction, I put a larger rubber tip on the bottom, but used them for some time without this and had no problem. The design of the handle keeps my hands from getting tired or injured. I am short, so the expanse for adjusting is perfect. Many canes will not adjust to my short size.

Change in handle to smaller grip-not so comfortable now!
Original title was: Sturdy and serviceable, now my favorite! But... Update 10/28/21 The seller had Amazon send me two used canes that were returned, in an effort to find one that might have the larger cork handle, but both were the same as the one I returned because of the grip size change. Again, the seller says he or the factory did not change the dimensions, so maybe I got a one-off when I got the larger handle that I really liked. The seller also said that they were changing factories to produce it, and I suggested making both versions-a larger handle, with a harder spring tension, and a smaller handle version with lighter spring tension. The cane is now back in stock, higher priced and there is no mention of any changes made, so I assume it is the smaller handle version with the same hard spring tension that is now available. Unless you weigh a lot and have small hands, this might not be the best choice out there anymore. Of course, you can always order and if it doesn't suit you, it is easily returned on Amazon. Update 7/25/21 I ordered another one of the Wrzbest Jungleleopard canes to have on hand just as a backup, because this had become my favorite cane yet, of all I have tried like this. It doesn't have locks like some, but it seems it doesn't need them-it stays locked very well without. And the anti-shock does work well, even if it is a little stiff-it supports more weight as it is, for which I am thankful. I would rather have a strong spring than a weak one. The cane is quite light too-it does not feel like you are dragging a lot of weight around for your hand to manage, which is also very good, all this for a very reasonable price. But the main difference with this cane has been how comfortable the cork grip WAS for me-it is larger in diameter than my other canes that I have had, which is great if you don't have small hands, like a lot of men, and some taller women. This is so important for comfort, it's a wonder more manufacturers don't make at least 2 sizes for offer in walking and trekking canes. If you spend a lot of time using one, you will find anything that is more ergonomic will cause less wear and tear on your body. Now the bad news. I just received the second cane I have ordered, about 1 year later than the first, to find that the maker has now changed the grip design to be smaller overall in the cork handle, so I will have to return the one I just bought. Very sad, when things are good and work well, and then they are changed by the manufacturer for whatever reasons, and nothing is passed on to the consumer to know about the changes-so HERE IS THE HEADS UP. It is not the same cane that I reviewed a year ago, and it will not work for me unless I tape up the handle to make it larger again. Measurement of new grip circumference: handle at shaft 8.5 cm, midway to end of handle 8.0 cm. The old one for reference is about 1 cm larger in each measurement; 9.5 cm and 9.2 cm. I really hope someone just got carried away in sanding at the factory, but they say there has been no change made there recently in manufacture, as related to me by the seller. Good news for you smaller handed people though! Just not the rest of us. Very sad for the rest of us, unless this was just a one-off and not the norm now. I will return and try a replacement to see, and update when I know for sure. Old (June 2020 review): I just edited my review to be more fair to the manufacturer, and seller, as my review had some misstatements in it, simply for not having used it long enough. I do like this cane, but it seemed very stiff in operation, and did not appear to have a very long travel, even with my 325 lbs pushing on it. But I was wrong-I just pushed harder on it, and it does have a good range of travel in the spring, but it just takes more effort to move beyond that short way. I think it may be just that it is not broken in yet, and may get easier over time, like many things, with wear and use. The handle is very comfortable-even for someone with a larger palm and fingers, and that helps a lot. If it doesn't fit your hand, it won't make you very happy in longer use. It also seems to hang on counter tops well enough, unlike some. And the weight seems just a tad heavier than some, but not by much, though there are probably lighter weight ones without anti-shock if that is more important to you. In the woods, I would take my Leki Wanderfreund cane, without anti-shock, and it is one finger light, holding it by the strap, while you look through your binoculars, or pause to take a picture without putting the cane down. The Wrzbest is almost that light, and is much lighter than the Chinook anti shock walking cane, so not so bad overall in the weight category either. The sections tighten and loosen pretty easily, though sometimes I'm sure some people will have trouble with a screw to tighten or loosen cane, depending on hand strength, but then those can just leave it tightened at the proper length and not have to fool with it, having to loosen and tighten it all the time. In a world with not many similar walking canes, with this type handle, and anti-shock mechanism, this is a good choice it seems to me. My Komperdell Walker AS cane is nearly worn out, since it bottoms out very easily now. It had a longer handle, but not wider. The curves on this new cane's handle seem a little more palm filling, and more comfortable to me. Try it, you might be glad you did. One last thought-this does collapse to a nicely compact design, shorter than the Komperdell. So that is something many will appreciate, no doubt. Overall, a good design that works. Be well! Update: now after using this for a few months, it has become my favorite to use every day-it is light, sturdy, and has not failed me once, and the handle seems the best for comfort. Hang in there, and wait for it's return to a stock item-you will be glad you did too!

So good I bought a second set
These fold down smaller than any other hiking pole I own, yet are sturdy enough to really lean on. The grip is perfect for me, but might be a little small for guys with huge hands. No-slip. I never tried cork and am delighted. I even took these on a wild caving expedition in Mexico and due to very small size when collapsed, took one right down a thousand feet to help my balance and plantar fascitis at the cave camp. I only wish the snow baskets were a little bigger around, and that there was a pointed tip attachment. The flat tip isn't the best on some dicey outdoor terrain. But I go places most people don't...

Missing additional ends.
I did not get the extra ends. The end that is on it is not safe for solid surfaces. It is made for hiking or outside in dirt. I had a hip replacement and cannot use it. I do however like the cane itself.
