I purchased these as a replacement for the HORRIBLE cast iron cooking grids which came standard with my Broil King Baron, model 9625-64. Despite constant seasoning and oiling, the original cooking grids kept rusting badly. The Broil King brand stainless replacements would have cost me around $140, these were less than half that price. These Votenli grids appear well made, are very sturdy, fit my grill perfectly, and are 304 stainless. Broil King claims their stainless cooking grids are 430 stainless, which probably makes them LESS corrosion resistant than Votenli's.) I preheated the grill to maximum temperature with these and there was no sign of any warping, I grilled steaks on them which turned out delicious as expected, and the cooking grids cleaned up just fine with a brushing. I give these Votenli cooking grids a "THUMBS UP."

My Broil King grill originally came with heavy, high quality cast iron grates. When they eventually wore out, I thought I'd be stuck with flimsy options. The stainless grills that arrived were surprisingly thick and solid. They're heavy enough that they put a good sear on meats. So far, they're much easier to clean and keep clean than the original cast iron grates, so this seems like an upgrade - at a very reasonable cost.

I had done a lot of research to find replacement cooking grids for my Broil King Baron. I originally had the cast iron ones, and was not happy with the short life span (rusted quickly). This is a pack of 4 that fit perfect. Not to mention, was significantly better price than elsewhere. They are heavy and seem sturdy. Would agree with other reviews, handle with care. The edges are sharp and scratch you (or table) easily.

Fits my grill perfectly, I dont think it heats as well as cast iron, but its alot easier to clean, and no rust

Lets keep this simple and informative. My BBQ is the BROIL KING 540. I needed 5 of these grates but the pack from Amazon only came with 4 of them so I had to order two of these for a total of $140. Leaving three grates for future use. When I called Broil King to order the original Stainless Steel Grates there wanted $175 plus shipping. Lets round it to $190. Truth be told it might not have been Broil King but another reseller in charge of selling factory parts for them. None the less, with ordering two of these from Amazon. I saved $50. Here are some details; 1. The original grates from the factory. The rods were 8mm thick 2. These new grates came in at 7mm thick as advertised, not a show stopper still sturdy and good quality 3. These were installed on the the Broil King Baron 540 BBQ 4. Saved $50 ordering on Amazon Picture 1 = Measurement of the original factory grates coming in at 8mm Picture 2 = Measurement of the new grates coming in at 7mm Picture 3 = My BBQ with the old grates. Not much here Picture 4&5 = My BBQ with the new grates installed VERY SHINNY! Used them already the first day they came in and no issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! I have a Huntington Rebel 21-2264 and needed to replace the original porcelain enameled cast iron grates. Anyone with this style grill will know that "universal" replacements aren't so universal as the grill has screw heads that protrude right where the grates sit and they must be notched or they will not seat correctly. I bought the stainless steel version and the way they are made eliminates that problem and they work perfectly.

These have been excellent replacement grates for our Broil King grill. Sturdy, love that they are stainless. Easy to clean. Food does not stick. Excellent price and purchase.

Unfortunately two of the four grates were welded incorrectly so they were bent and won't fit on the grill. I have to return them and purchase a different brand/style.
