This product is not fit for purpose
I was really excited to purchase the Guineadad lines for our 2 piggies' C&C cage, as I had read so many good reviews. Unfortunately we have had them 6 months now and are now purchasing different liners as the Guineadad liners are not fit for purpose. When they arrived they appeared great, and were larger than the cage floor to allow for shrinking. We have been careful and followed the Guineadad cleaning instructions carefully, however they quickly shrank to smaller than the cage. The longer liner (2 x 4) is now 3.5 inches shorter in width and over 6 inches shorter in length than the cage. They also don't appear to clean very well, taking a long time to dry, the softness of the fabric quickly wore out, and I find that they retain a bad smell and can still appear soiled after cleaning... again, I have followed Guineadad's instructions carefully and have given the liners a 'deep clean' as suggested on their website, but have not found this helps, and would be very impractical to do this each time (it suggests soaking the blankets in water for 24 - 48 hours). It is such a lot of money and very wasteful in material to have something that is no longer of function, which defeats the object of purchasing something in an attempt to be more environmentally friendly. The one positive of Guineadad liners is that our piggies love the boxes that the liners arrived in and can use these as a house and tunnel. This is a brilliant idea by the company.Fortunately, I purchased fleece liners from an independent small company at the same time, so I have something to compare to. Our other fleece liners have been amazing, have not shrunk, and still feel like new (do not smell, are still soft and are clean) after 6 months. So it is possible to have excellent quality liners.I am really sorry to leave 1 star - I have never left such a negative review before. However, I do not feel that Guineadad is genuine in their advertising of this product which has been so disappointing.I would strongly advise people to look elsewhere for cage liners.

Shrinkage is more than expected
I purchased the fleece liner as an alternative to disposable bedding for my 2 guinea pigs and I've been impressed by the quality of the product. It makes a huge difference when it comes to the daily clean up and it seems a lot more sanitary than sawdust. The pigs love the fleece, especially the large pocket for them to hide in. No more sawdust kicked up and out of the cage and it does a lot to reduce the noise of them running around at night. The major issue I have with this product is the shrinkage. It does state in the care instructions that you should expect some shrinkage but I did not expect this much... When the fleece first arrived, the ends would fold up about 5-6 centimeters at either end of the cage - after a few months of use the fleece is now 3 centimeters shorter than the cage floor which means excrement and urine gets underneath it and requiring more regular cleaning. This is despite following the care/washing instructions to the letter. It's really disappointing because the fleece is expensive and would otherwise be fantastic. I've since purchased other cheaper fleeces from different sellers and have not experienced the same problem.

Very good quality!!
This guinea pig fleece is better than any other fleece on the market. Perfectly designed with guinea pigs in mind. It does just as the label says it does. I am very happy with the product and will be buying more. The price is high put is worth every penny, making your piggies a lot happier and healthier. It also saves time and money because you just pop it in the wash when it needs a good clean. Thank you guineadad! I recommend to everyone.

Highly recommend!
Great fleeces for my purposes! Two of these fit my 5x2 C&C cage beautifully and each of my two piggies have an extra hiding place in the excellent pockets. I'm now saving up to get two more for wash day! I would say that after using them for 3 months they did need a good bit of disinfecting and vinegar / washing up liquid in with the washing powder as they began to retain the urine smell even after washing, but I believe this is pretty standard for fleeces. They are very absorbent and never leave any pee residue on the base on the cage, unlike other fleeces I have. Also, I was stupid enough to throw away the box the first fleece came in but the second currently resides in my girls' cage as an extra hidey and they love moving it around when they play their games. Highly recommend all round!

Not easy to wash in a machine wicking of urine on the base of the liner
Hmm I bought this as an alternative to sawdust as my baby rabbit is having itchy skin from sawdust the absorbent liner works but the moister does wick on the under side so if it’s rolled over but bouncing or rolling little bunnies or piggies it’s not that effective. In the manual it say shake out food and hay debris and wash in machine. I shook it out did as instructions said and it washed even the residual hay and tiny food clogged my washing machine and I needed the filter removed. It’s very hard to get the food and hay out seriously I’m now washing this by hand and so therefore it’s really messy and time consuming

Supreme!!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous. At first I was sceptical about the high price but it’s 100% value for your money. The packaging was great, even came with a tunnel, a house, sticker and a manual😄. Definitely a recommendation and repurchase.

Don't waste your money.
Don't be fooled by the reviews. Unless you have a separate washing machine just for Guinea pigs don't waste your money on this item like I did. Both dryer and washing machine stink of Urine after cleaning and full of Guinea pigs hair and hay no matter how much you shake, brush and hoover the soaking wet liners out. Careful you don't get covered in urine in the process. Going in the bin. Very disappointed.

Couldn’t recommend enough :)!
Absolutely love this fleece liner, it’s so soft and thick, and you can just throw it into the washing machine without a problem, it’s waterproof and absorbent so you don’t need to use pee pads and the pocket is such a great addition for my guinea pigs to hide in! The packaging is also reusable as a cardboard hidey.
