They have some give so don't be scared to overstuff
Works great holds in moisture well. I had some extra meat and jammed it into the last one it stretched but didn't burst. So overall good quality I use hog rings to seal mine and it works well.

It was late
This is what we wanted good price the problem I had was not getting it on the first date or the second date. We're made had scheduled to make summer sausage on the 8th .so I had to go buy somewhere else.

This casing is perfect for summer sausage around 1lb, best result let them sit for half hour in warm water before filling, make penetrate the casing perfectly.

I've only ever used these LEMs so I don't really know what to compare too or what I would look for in a casing. These were recommended to me when I first used them and I have never tried to find another. They work great from start to finish. Never had one fail. Never had manufacturing flaws. Always a great experience.

Works Great for 1-1/4 lbs of Summer Sausage
These Casings work great for summer sausage. They are not edible, but when you stuff the casings, do not over stuff or they will rupture. I usually do 10lbs of sausage at a time using 8 casings. I have had overall good luck with them in stuffing and smoking, just remember you have to soak them for about 30 minutes before you fill them. Never fill them dry.
