Ugly looking and sticky to touch BUT super delicious!... I highly recommend them
The first couple of bites, it tastes just like a regular bland candy UNTIL the licorice kicks in... Then, it becomes rich, soft, chewy, delicious, and mouthwatering!... I read complaints that they are not as good as the originals, but those are very tasty... I would love to taste what the originals taste like, if the other reviewers think they're even better...

A great childhood memory
This was my favorite candy during childhood, so, when I searched and found it on Amazon, I was excited to try it. It was fresh and tasted exactly as I remembered when I was young. I will be buying it again forsure.

The MOST SOFT & FRESH taffy I have ever bought !
Wow, this was so soft, fresh and delicious! If I didn’t know better, I might just think it was just made! It Made it so worth the price. I wish they had the 4lb bag in stock! Will definitely buy this primrose black taffy again as the flavor is my favorite! Don’t hesitate to get yourself or someone this as a gift! Yummy!

This is one of my favorite taffy flavors. It's not easy to find in stores, so I was excited to be able to get it on Amazon at and affordable price. This was my second order and won't be my last! Soft, fresh and flavorful! I love the new zip lock packaging!***Afordable and fresh!***repeat customer.

Not an unpleasant taste and it's nicely sweet, soft and chewey, but it ain't licorice, and it ain't black.

I use this candy for a quick pick me up energy wise at anytime during the day . It's flavor is fantastic and they last in your mouth for quite awhile. Great price, great value.

Wonderful candy if you love black licorice and soft taffy
Best candy ever if you love black licorice and you love soft taffy.Great mouth feel, nicely sticky, wrappers are waxed so they come off easily.Strangely is caramel colored with a central black dot and a red stickier patch butthe whole candy has strong licorice flavor!We ate up the 3 lbs way too fast and ordered more!
