Wow. We cannot recommend the clever dog enough. Everyone who asks for the best doggy camera,or ever surveillance camera, I always recommend clever dog. It packs alot of tech into a small price tag. Picks up the pooch brilliantly, even on night mode, and has decent sensitivity with the motion detector too.It does have capacity for a memory card to allow you to record footage, but we tend to use just as a instant look to make sure pooch is okay and behaving.This little camera is also kitted out with microphone and speaker, which is a little crackly, but otherwise you can have a decent conversation through, and the dog recognises who is taking to him through the camera too, so sound wise it is pretty spot on.And not forgetting the fact this is a wifi camera too, so aslong as your internet remains on at home, you can tap into the camera from your phone any where in the world. The only downside we have noticed, and it is only minor. Only one phone can connect to the camera at a time.But other than that teeny tiny detail, this camera is amazing. Highly, highly recommend.

Camera quality excellent, as is night vision.However 90% of the time when i access the app it says the camera is disconnect.It reestablishes connection when i click on it, but I'm not sure if trust this device with actually warning me to an incident as it so rarely seems to stay connected.In addition to this the playback feature seems strangely intermittent in if it will work or not.Besides this the actual camera is great, and its capability to invert the feed for attaching to a ceiling is excellent.***Having had this camera for a few days now I can confirm the camera is pretty reliable. it notified me of all movement over the weekend, and promptly. My only suggestion for improvement would be an audio sensor in addition to the movement sensor. other than that I rate the camera as a cheap reliable alternative to some of the more expensive big brand cameras.***

Great value for money.Installation: Putting it as stupid people friendly as I am one of them and managed to do it.Download the app and one cable for power that’s pretty much it.Not a bad picture although I can’t compare it to anything else as this is my first one.Sound detector is quite sensitive as a neighbour passing behind the wall (semidetached) triggers it every time. But that can be switched off within the app.At night as soon as the light goes off the infra led comes on within 1-2 seconds.Same after sunset, as soon as the luminescence goes below certain level infra led comes on.You will need a SD card so try to buy one ASAP.You can check on it every time as long as you have reception on your phone.Will be considering another one.

Ads have ruined this camera making it not fit for purpose anymore. Can’t view the live feed without waiting for ages for ads to stop because if you try to click the X the ad just reloads. I’ll have to get a different brand :-(((

Given this cam 3 stars because of the app, clever dog, that runs the cam storage etc. I bought this in May 19 and it's pretty easy to set-up and link to Wi-Fi/phone app etc BUT... recently the app has been trying to sell me extras, other cams, storage etc. It comes with 'free' cloud storage, but there's obv a time limit on that as I'm being directed to buy it now, so no cloud storage after 2 months. I also have an sd card inserted and the app is now telling me the device is 'off-line', so I can't see any playback video. I feel like this is to push the owner to buy cloud storage, as this only started happening the other day, coincidentally when the cloud storage also disappeared. The picture quality of the cam itself is really good and so is the night vision. I have this set up in a vivarium to watch a pet, so it is great for my needs. But as my pet is nocturnal and I now can't playback any footage, it's become worthless. I'd def buy a better known brand next time that has a customer service dept that can help rather than something cheap that has many of the instructions in Chinese first and there's zero comeback.

Easy to assemble even for a technophobe such as myself. Was able to log in and see my dog during a holiday in the States which was great. Picture quality perfectly adequate to know that your dog is OK. It's not the best quality but you can see everything you need. After doing lots of research, I felt that this camera was the best value for money on the market and it certainly hasn't let me down. Only problem I have is that I am unable to see on wifi in certain places, but I suspect that that is more of an issue with the wifi from where I am logging in.

I have 4 cameras to see what my dogs are doing when I pop out. I can speak to them and hear them. This makes my leaving them for an hour or so or more far better. I can see when they are asleep and know I don’t have to get back so soon. Works in Wi fi which some times as I live in the country drops out it has to be reset but I’m used to that around here. It’s not the cameras fault but I purchased 2 first then bought more. You have the option if a card to down load movement but I have not bought that .
