Ventirad EK Water Blocks EK-Velocity D-RGB - AMD Nickel + Acrylic

So far so good, CPU idling at 25C in an air conditioned room. Under stress, the temps stayed around low 50s. This is on an i7-8086K with a turbo speed of 4.5 ghz.I would rate the aesthetics of this block pretty high, the coolant is visible, the materials are pretty sleek.

+better hydraulic performance than Supremacy EVO. Coolant flow rate was maintained at 90% original RPM+matched thermal performance despite lower restriction.+better aesthetic design. Not just a square acrylic or plexiglass top. Better view of microfins through top of block.I wish they'd add a hex slot onto the mounting mechanism. New top leaves little clearance for big fingers to turn the thumbscrews.

This block fit on my motherboard with ease, looks incredible and has been a solid performer for the past year. It still looks brand new despite everyday usage. No regrets with this purchase.

Using this on my 12700k keeps temps in the 40s while gaming and under 79c while having a OC of 5.1 all core running cinabench r23

As others have mentioned in their reviews the A-RGB cable is thin and you need to take care when making your cable run not to pull on it very hard. If you do damage the A-RGB connection the block is still usable and will cool the CPU, it just won't have the RGB feature anymore. The block design isn't the highest flow rate out there, you may want to look at either the EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB (a bit more expensive) or the EK-Quantum Magnitude D-RGB (very expensive, but the best they make) if you want to stay with an EK block.

I'm going to make this short and sweet. I have a 9900K that I used to have under an NZXT Kraken X72. With a 5Ghz OC and 4.6Ghz on the Ring Ratio at 1.288 volts the chip was still hitting 88°C. Removed the AIO, installed the EK block, and graphed it into my existing GPU loop. Same settings, nothing has changed, 64°C full load. Worth it. Wished I had of done it sooner.

This has to be the most beautiful cpu block that EK has put out since the beginning. These never leak and they don't clog easily. I recommend upgrading to the RGB version if your doing a visual build. It makes a difference and it's allot easier to add it in from the start then to have to redo your work latter.

This waterblock looks really well-made, the parts and mounting solution have a quality feel to them. The block is running in my PC now and I've got no issues. It's easy to disassemble for cleaning or to change the jet plate or the orientation of the front. Make sure you connect it up with the right inlet and outlet - it is designed for flow to go one way and not the other. The RGB works well. It came with some decent quality thermal paste as well.

I bought this EK waterblock just over a year ago and it has failed. The LED's "not a problem, it has a 2 year warranty" (as it says on the offical EKWB website) I thought, until I got in contact with with Scam computers and found out that it was "out of date by 5 months" I had asked for a replacement or even to rebuy it at a lower cost. Considering I spent £96 on it I would hope for it to last more than a year, but I understand that products break, this is why we have warranty's. After going directly to EK, I am in the process of RMA'ing the product. I have bought many items from EK and this has not changed their reputation in my mind. Their Customer support is excellent, prices are better than amazon and shipping is the same speed or a day slower. And the best part, you wont be giving bezos any more money. Please buy all EK products off the EK website.

Der Kühler kam komplett verdreckt bei mir an, alles schrauben überdreht, LEDs kaputt und zerkratzt. In der Beschreibung bei WHD nur ein kleiner am Produkt, der absolute Albtraum was ich bekommen habe nie wieder WHD.

Wasserkühler für mein neues ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero. In bewährter EK Qualität. Wer das Teil kauft, weiß wonach er/sie sucht und will. Nicht billig, aber top verarbeitet. Vorgänger schon auf dem letzten System (geköpfter i7 8700k mit liquid metal). Auch hier: problemloser Einbau, alles dabei was man braucht, nichts hakt oder hängt. Beleuchtung gut, nicht zu aufdringlich (wenn man denn Asus Aura zum laufen bringt... anderes Thema). Vor allem: Kühlwirkung wie beworben, klasse. Einzelheiten erspare ich euch, dazu gibt es im Netz jede Menge Testberichte. Empfehlung von mir, 5 Sterne.
