Earl Grey Green 🔥
I have been looking for Earl Grey Green since 2009, after having it from a local tea shop. I'd long given up by now (it's currently January 2026) to ever find it out in the world. While browsing on Amazon for some new green tea, I stumbled upon this brand. I liked their varieties, and the brand itself seems "legit." Well needless to say when I saw Earl Grey Green I bought it within a second. I eagerly awaited my delivery that contained other items, but this Earl Grey Green was the main attraction! Once I got my delivery I immediately made a cup. It was DIVINE! Ah, the amazing smell and taste of this tea brought back wonderful memories of 2009 with my best friend in the tea shop. The next time we hang out she will be enjoying this tea as well! I will for sure be buying more teas from this brand! The bags are large at 16oz, but the quality and taste assures that it will be consumed fairly quickly. I'm looking forward to trying more of Davidson's Tea!

Earl Grey Green also contains lavender flowers
I love Earl Grey tea, whether the base is black, green, or white tea. I also love both the scent and flavor of lavender, which is fortunate as it isn't obvious from the name that this version contains dried lavender petals. The green tea leaves are a good medium-large size, not chopped bits or dust. The bergamot flavor tastes authentic and is not so strong as to overpower the green tea, and the lavender adds a nice depth. I've seen some reviews mentioning finding strange things in loose tea, but I've never had anything in a bag of Davidsons that wasn't supposed to be there, beyond the very occasional stem or tiny twig. I know people who greatly dislike the taste of lavender (they find it too reminiscent of soap or candles), so it would be helpful if Davidson's altered the name or otherwise made it very obvious that this tea does contain something more than the standard Earl Grey flavor. Aside for that, I wouldn't change anything. 5 Stars, highly recommended.

Fresh, heavy on lavender
Fresh . hint of bergamot, strong on green tea, lavender potent . Quantity of lavender too overpowering. Have used other mixes before this mix is not for me and a few others that don’t like lavender taste. Couldn’t give it away. Very fresh

My personal favorite tea!
I have done quite a bit of experimenting with tea and have found Earl Grey to be my favorite style. I find the bergamot and tea compliments each other to make a perfectly balanced yet complex beverage. This particular expression happens to be my favorite yet! I'm not usually the biggest fan of green tea either, but this product seems to have more tannins and body than any other green teas that I've tried. Add in the health benefits of green tea and the fact that it's a good value and you've got my go-to drink!

Save Your Money
I took a gamble on Davidson's bulk teas over Rishi, Numi, and Vahdam's offerings. I'm very sorry but all three teas we ordered (Earl Grey of Green, Genmaicha, and Mao Jian Jasmine) were terrible. All the teas seemed "built" with a lesser quality green tea (somewhere between broken whole leaf and bottom-of-bag shake) and had marginal, toasted-grass-like flavor; in the Jasmine variant, no flower flavor is present so you end up over-brewing and drinking what can pass as a low-budget green tea. The Genmai variant just has toasted rice cracker added (which coincidentally was the best of the three cuz it does a better job masking the basic-quality green tea flavor). The Earl Grey variant is at the other end of the sense spectrum, with what seems like a bottle of raw bergamot oil poured into the bag. This doesn't make a better tea, and while the acidic nature of the oil sorta "burns" the palette and might trick you into thinking for a moment you are drinking a quality beverage.. you are not. I broke down and ordered some bulk Rishi jasmine to get me back where I need to be.. ya know? Sure it costs more but I want a cup of something drinkable. I may ask for refund and avoid Davidson's in the future.

Inconsistent quality
What a disappointment. I purchased my first package about a year ago. And I loved it since. BUT the new one is a totally different tea. It’s bitter. Doesn’t have as much aroma as my first one was. It’s super light color. Maybe it has more white tea than green? No idea. I guess their quality is inconsistent!!! That’s what I wrote before I opened the new arrival: Love it. Great flavor and aroma. Also wake you up as a tea should, but without the jittery feeling of coffee. (I bite simultaneously on 2 small squares oftom 85% cacao chocolate bar). Plus it's less acidic than coffee. Aroma is amazing.
