Works great
This bow press works great! I’ve used it at least a hal dozen times and it haven’t had any problem. The one problem other reviewers mentioned was that the limb bracket were slipping off. It happened to me the first time using them. As long as the bow is horizontal limbs facing up and cable evenly spaced they shouldn’t slip. Over all a great product for a great price

Good product, easy to use.
Great product, as described. Easy to use for the beginner bow technician. Would buy from again.

Decent bow press but use caution with the bracket.
First off, toss the brackets that come with this press. The bracket will flex under pressure and will slip off the limbs. Very dangerous and can damage the bow. Fortunately, nothing bad happened to me when it slipped off. I was still able to use the press by sticking the studs at the Y of the limbs where the cams are located. Just make sure you wrap a piece of cloth on the studs and cable that will make contact with any part of your bow to prevent it from getting scratched up. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can use this press without a bracket on split limbs. If you have split limbs, I suggest finding a bracket that will not flex and slip.

works as advertized. happy with product
Needed this to press my PSE Response/React/Evo. Felt sketch but that was just me. It was rock solid. didn't move at all on the limbs. worked great.

Completely useless for split limb bows
This is not capable of pressing a bow with split limbs. The brackets are too weak and they flex and slip well before the string loosens. Also, it is very difficult to use and the cable is prone to damaging parts of your bow, which I just learned the hard way.

IVEKE Portable Hand Held Bow Press with 2 Quad Brackets for Compound Bow Archery
A bottom-line is that it is good value for the money, all things considered, - what these seem to go for in price. However, imo, this is not for a newbie, or faint of heart, - the user of this, imo, must be very diligent in how they apply it to, especially, a "split-limb" bow. If one has a "v-notch" to feed it through to hold the limb-anchors (what I call them), they, it's straight forward. However, you have a big bolt to turn in the middle of all your "stuff", - strings, sights, quiver, etc.I used mine on a shorter compound bow rated up to apx 45lbs. I had to set to 30lbs for safer target shooting. I comment that since, then, - the limb is already, "less tight", so to speak. Mine was a Split-limb and I needed the additional pieces to slide over the top end of them and below, not on top of the String.I'd expect most to have the same experience as I did with a <30 axle to axle bow, set lower LB.So, here's the Caution. Aside from dodging all the strings and sight and arrow rest, not to hard to do since attached to the end of the limb, I only require 3 full turns to relax the String, unhook the one Cable, (inside string some may see it as). This release that Cam to then easily rotate and unhook the String (the draw sting you use to shoot the arrow).Do, what I needed to do and put it all back.I was able to do this with the Bow in my "lap", with a table in front of me and even carefully turn the bow around to see both sides of the Cam.So, the "caution" part, and I see references to it in other reviews, - the Quad Brackets. You need them for a split limb, - period. However, and esp for shorter Bows, e.g., <30", the Limb ends at that point are nearly vertical which means the, as well, *vertical, "square" Bracket end will potentially MOVE, - that's a bad thing. So, you need to pay attention that you are ON the Limb and not past that better surface to surface contact of that Bracket end and "non-slip" ? vinyl end covering. You are PULLING the Limbs, not Pressing them from the outside. If the Bracket slipped off, - that would be bad, or even injurious to the user. However, having used it 2x's now see it seems okay for what it is.Also, mine benefited from a light "Hoppe's", or 3in1 oil in the pulley's and bolt thread. It was all kind of dry and squeaky first use. I'd say be careful NOT to get any oil anywhere else! Certainly not on the Anchor pieces.I will likely leave mine alone. However, it may benefit of the Manufacturer put some inward angle on these ends with a heavier more "sticky" vinyl. One can do that their selves.Ironically, possibly, for me, their Bracket could actually hook the Limb end, facing down on the outside of the limb and pull from the lower angle. However, one then has all the "stuff" in the middle there. You'd need a double cable then, possibly too; so, I get the compromise.Anyway, I can only suppose, but on a greater than >30" long bow, this may be less of an issue, if split limb. So, have a good look when you get it, if you can even use it safely. It's not worth it otherwise. So, yes the comments on the Brackets are wise caution, - heck if those hooked ends were long with more surface area on the limb to hold, there is a way to calculate surface tension and friction, - but, I don't know it, just aware of it. I say this since the OEM could just improve what this is, make it safe (safer) to use. Otherwise, I can't recommend anyone buy it.Unless you are a very experienced person with "contraptions" in general, be very cautions with this and you'll be okay. Maybe there's a video somewhere on it. Oh, and again, if you have to turn this more than 3 full turns to release it to workable slack, - maybe stop there or watch those Brackets closely!

Widen the hooks just a little to fit on a prime split limb bow. (Logic and black series)
If you are wondering if this works on a PRIME bow, yes it will. I had to pull the ends a little wider to fit around the twin cams, but i was able to do that by hand no problem.

Ease of use
This allows me to work on my compoud bow with out a big press. I am so glad I picked it up. Plus it is very easy to take with you if you need it in the field.
