💧 Stay ahead of pressure spikes with Watts – where water safety meets smart design!

Prevents pressure relief valve from firing
We got our pressure valve fixed and so had to install this to prevent the pressure relief valve from going off on the heater. This was easy to install and has clear instructions: 1: pump to the same pressure as the water pressure 2: install (no need to support it) It's pretty small so make sure to size it appropriately. We have had zero issue and everything is working just fine.

Good quality Tank- paint and threads.
The tank arrived on time and in good condition. Installation was easy. The tank paint and threads were all good quality. It was installed to reduce water pressure changes on my hot water tank. The pressure relief valve was periodically leaking and the expansion tank resolved the problem.

Clod water tank
Stores by me do not carry expansion tanks for the cold side of a water tank. Ones the water company put a check valve on the water supplies going into my house the pipes were banging this solved my problem

Good Product and Value
Solid, well-made product. Works perfectly with pressure properly set. A good value from Amazon/Plumbersstock at $33.45 shipped. TIP: If a pressure regulator (or other spring or energy-storing element) is present, put a snubber or throttle valve in the tank branch to stop water hammer. Planning ahead for this will prevent disassembly later, as you're thinking 'Hey, that groaning vibration is what that guy was talking about'. Ya, it's not like the SLAM-SLAM-SLAM of older systems, but it's still hammer and can cause problems long-term. Flow rate to/from these tanks is typically very low so a small opening works.

Lasted 13 years, so bought the same
I had to replace my water expansion tank since it had corroded. I bought this, the same make and model as existing one, since it lasted 13 years. Though guys on YouTube show the replacement is easy, I don’t have power and strength like theirs, so I had used plumbing service to do the installation. I am glad I did because there are more technicalities like increasing pressure of the tank to match home water pressure before installation. I didn’t see those details in YouTube. The price on Amazon was the best and the delivery was quick.

Good Tank
Was blowing pipes in my house ever since the city worked on my water shutoff valve. Found out my 60 psi was going up to 145 psi after the water heater cut off since I have a check valve on the city line now. After this tank was installed we peak at about 70 psi now which is a major improvement. My tank arrived dinged which is a bummer but doesnt affect operation.
