Danncy Vanilla Clear 33.8 fl oz (1L) 2 pack - Authentic Mexican Vanilla Flavor

I bought the 2-pack of clear vanilla in 2018. I used up the last drop a week before Christmas and panicked because I needed more. I was so glad that the seller, and the exact product was still available. I ordered it and received it within a day. I will probably go through the vanilla faster this time, since I cook more. It's such a good bargain, and excellent quality. I've read some of the bad reviews and don't get it...it smells great and adds the perfect vanilla flavor to everything I cook.

I use this for my sugar cookie business. It’s definitely a fan favorite and tastes so much better than all the other clear vanilla extracts I’ve used. One thing to note is that adding too much gives an almost cinnamon taste.

I add just a touch to my coffee and it really makes it good. One bottle lasts about 6 weeks.....it doesn't take much.

I bought this when I was no longer able to buy Wilton clear vanilla locally. When I opened the bottle the smell was overpowering - and not a vanilla aroma. It took awhile to identify what the smell reminded me of and it finally came to me - it smells like coconut suntan oil. I did use it when making buttercream frosting and it made the frosting taste like it smelled. Needless to say, the taste is not pleasant.

Our families favorite vanilla. Tastes way better than imitation. Only vanilla we have used for years.

I like to use clear vanilla when decorating my cookies. It keep the white white. The flavour is not as strong as the dark vanilla but I just use a little extra. You get a very large amount. It lasts a long time.

Just so happy it came and it’s the quality I am used to with this brand.

I had purchased a dark Mexican vanilla once, and it was deep, rich, and caramel. Absolutely wonderful. So I had high hopes when I purchased this clear Mexican vanilla. I figured, worst-case scenario, it will taste like normal vanilla. (I have purchased store-bought vanilla here in Montreal, and it tasted EXACTLY like dark vanilla). So, imagine my surprise when I tried this one. This vanilla tastes nothing like vanilla, of any sort. Some reviewers have compared it to watered-down vanilla; I would GLADLY accept that at this point if that was the only complaint. However, it doesn't smell or taste of the type of North American vanilla product I have ever tried (including the Madagascar version). My daughter compares it to a weird cardboard taste. I agree. And that is the bits of flavor that actually come out. In summary: Watered down, non-vanilla taste. I can only assume that anyone who has reviewed this and felt otherwise has been sent something vastly different from what I got. $60 down the drain. Oh well, live and learn.

I have been using this vanilla for about 4 years and absolutely love it! It is the only vanilla that I use in my Royal Icing. I also love the price point for purchasing the 2 pack of this vanilla! Yes, I would absolutely recommend this Vanilla.
