AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME
We have a large pond in our back yard that hasn't been running for a few years. when I fired the thing up the compression coupling on the two inch pipe coming out of the pump simply couldn't hold the pressure. Try as I might, I couldn't get it to hold. A co-worker, who also has a pond, told me about these fittings. He didn't have any because he hasn't had the problem I have, but it sounded like a perfect solution. Once I saw the price, I ordered a set instantly (coworker thought they were about $100 a set so I was pleasantly surprised) anyway, I hooked up this set, and a month later haven't had a problem. Note, I bought the other end of this coupling as well as the male/female reverse sets of these fittings, so I'm re-posting this review on all of them. Note, this is one of the pieces I didn't use. but it's of the same quality as the piece I did, the female end just made more sense for my situation. I bought them all because they were cheap and I wanted to have the option if needed.

I've had this connector for 1 year now and it is great. I use it to move water from a 275 gallon tank in a trailer to two other tanks at the house. I get two tanks a day, and pump out of the tanks at the house each day. Lots of connecting and disconnecting. My tanks have aluminum connectors and the ABS seems to work very well. I have a couple of other connectors that are aluminum and they are harder to connect to the coupler than this one. love it.

Good fit works great
Bought this to connect my threaded discharge hose to my CAM discharge hose. Threads little tight but it works great.

Perfect for IBC tote
As another reviewer commented - these are perfect for IBC totes. If you're trying to pipe up 2" PVC, this is what you want. They fit nice and tight when the banjos are engaged. Well made and solid - these should last longer than I'll want them.

Very high quality
I was very pleased with the built quality of this piece. The plastic, gasket to the alloy levers are all fabricated with high durability construction. Fits my IBC tank perfectly with no leaks.

No more rusted out fitting.
Works, simple to use, and attach. Since my pump only gets used one in a while, the hose is stored on the side of my shed. The original rusted out.
