Whirlpool W11106747 Door Boot Seal

The media could not be loaded. 70 bucks less here. Installed with a lesson by Repair Clinic on YouTube. Very easy to do. The old boot was disgusting , good riddance. Great machine but crappy design on the door boot. We will leave the door open and wiped down after each use and hope to keep mold gone.

It works like new. This is a more complex procedure to replace than just pulling off the seal and sliding a new one on. It is not that bad if you are comfortable taking things apart. My suggestion is to watch a video that shows the process. I had skimmed through a video but struggled with final spring loaded cable that hold the seal on at the door. Watching the video helped a lot.

The pare arrived on time as promised without any issues. I replaced the part with ease. (I am pretty good at this kind of stuff but I can see it being difficult if one doesn't have experience with fixing things however with YouTube video and taking your time is doable) One thing I didn't like and it's the fact that the add doesn't indicate if the part is new or refurbished. Either way it offers the same warranty. The washer is working great and the seal is doing what it's spouse to be doing. I recommend that part from the company.

Works and fit well, but it has a horrible smell to it that has lasted for over a month. I don't notice the smell transferring onto the clothes, thankfully.

I received an OEM part, and it went in without much of an issue. Seemed to line up and working as expected. The color was darker than the Original it replaced, but I'm not too worried, it seals and does the trick. The only thing I did notice is that the door seems to take more force to close. Not I think it is stiffer, maybe thicker in the actual extrusion, but it seals, and the washer is working, buying some additional life out of the machine.I have to give it 4 stars, because these things are a pain in general, depending on the tools you have and the retaining spring that holds the gasket in place. (You can youtube the process and depending on the age, the springs are similar, but they have to be stretched to remove and install the gasket and can be tedious.It took me the 2nd half of a MNF game, and I had to use a pair of Vice-Grips to get the spring expanded over the gasket and into place. You may be able to find the "Expander Pliers," (they are on here as well) to help, but the spring I had, was longer than the tool capacity, so I had to make it work with what I had.As long as I didn't cause any tears in the rubber, I assume it should last a while. Go slow, make sure the arrow points to the top as close to 12 o'clock as possible and it should go in without much of an issue. Good luck with your repair!

Received a genuine OEM part - fits well and is good quality

Perfect fit a little annoying to install Highly recommend watching a YouTube video to explain how to install it even after watching the video and doing many appliance repairs in the past I found it a little challenging especially the spring clamp on the outer door. Other than that after I got it installed it works good the door shuts perfectly and does not leak it does not smell anymore. Quality replacement part

Tie on the outer collar to support the weight before seating the inner key seal. If you don't the collar's weight will undo all of your efforts to get that inner key seal to stay in place

As advertised. Perfect fit. Has been installed for weeks and no issues.
