Pro Value 39618 Carquest Hydraulic Valve Lifter Remover

Did what it was suppose to do. Very tuff tool, had to really torque it out.

Worked great, for pulling hydraulic lifters out of a GM 3100,so I could clean them. Also I used it to remove a broken plastic coolant elbow out of a hole in the lower intake manifold in a buick 3800! A well made tool!

The slide hammer was not necessary and removed it to make handling the tool easier. I wish it was designed better so you didn't need need nose pliers to hold the end while turning the shaft and expanding the end ring. It was awkward but it worked. I sleeve that slide down the shaft the hold the end piece from turning seems to be the missing piece to get this to 5 stars.

This tool saved me a lot of work and performed very well.
