Did a good job, but had to redirect too many times.

This was my first opportunity to get the windows clean. It worked great in a couple of rooms. Even lost suction in the bathroom. No big deal. Picked it up and reattached. Well, when it came to my kitchen window, the blue light wouldn’t come on to show suction. I unplugged and plugged again. Reattached, blue light on, it begins to clean. 1 minute later, it falls to the floor. I look up and the first pane of a double pane window is completely shattered. $212 to replace the unit and the machine only cost $100. I tried to return as defective. Purchased 11/13 and it is only 12/23. Amazing said it has been past 30 days and not eligible for a refund. Will not connect me to seller. Do not recommend at all.

It works good on the main area of the window but cannot clean corners and edges well. One thing for sure it did much better job than we did on our second floor windows that we tried to clean unsuccessfully from the ladder or using extended handles for squeegee.I recommend Winbot W710 to anyone who has difficult to access windows.

This is an amazing piece of engineering! I have risked my life for the past 10 years washing the 2nd story windows of my house. My new WinBot arrived two days ago and it's easily become my favorite toy. My windows came out very clean, though one notch below a scrub pad/squeegee level of clean. I would still want to clean the windows I can reach with a scrub pad and squeegee but ... the Winbot is so easy to use and fun to watch!Out of the box the remote control worked perfectly, but the automatic mode didn't work. I called and left a message. Robert called me back the same day. He walked me through the issue and even gave me his cell number in case I wasn't able to try his suggestion during his business hours. It turns out you that you have to turn on the vacuum on first before placing the WinBot on the glass. It works like a charm now. By the way, I'm amazed at how little washing fluid it takes - only about 5-6 squirts of spray to clean a 8ft x 4ft window.I couldn't be happier with my Winbot. I've already recommended it to two of my friends and they are getting theirs next week.

Technically speaking this little robot is rather impressive. But it doesn't really wash your windows. It wipes them with a wet pad in the front and a dry pad at the back. If they're very dirty, you're going to have to wash them by hand before Winbot can do it's job. The manual even tells you this, but the Amazon description doesn't. (Which really makes it hard to know how well Winbot will work; since once you've cleaned it by hand, you can't really test it very well.)So, depending on how dirty your windows get or how often you want to wash them, Winbot MAY work for you. As the factory rep told me, he does his windows once per week. And it appears to me that it's robotic faculties aren't that precise; so that you will usually have to go over areas that it misses, using the remote control. The only way to know if it will work for you, is to try it. Maybe.

Our condo have large windows and its in the 9th floor. Only way to safely clean the outside of the windows is using professional services, which are extremely expensive unless the whole building is been cleaned. In addition, the city where the condo is located has high particulate air quality. So, the windows get dirty quickly. For these reasons, I have tried several devices. The last one was a set of magnets where you place one cleaning pad on each side of the glass. It was not the best, but windows looked better, after a lot of work.Now, enter this gadget... a game changer! I quickly got a handle on how to optimize the cleaning times by using the remote control to supplement the movements. Worked best if you wet and kind of wash the window and wait for the cleaning liquid to dry up some and then start using the robot. Then, i learned that by finishing the cleaning using the magnetic pads (not part of the robot) helped eliminating the streaks the robot leaves.Windows are looking great.I am sure subsequent cleaning will be faster and simpler, as what I am reporting was after the first and dirtiest state of the windows.I cleaned 8 separate floor to ceiling windows using and washing the provided pads.I bought it directly from Amazon in March 2016.I have never received any product for review, and I don't intent to in the future.
