I bought this to fix my Roomba 620 which was not cleaning any whole room, and would just die in the middle of cleaning and not return to the dock anymore. This replacement battery fit exactly, but it is slightly lighter than the original battery which worried me a little bit. However, after I charged this replacement battery and ran my Roomba, it seemed to work just like it used to. I ran it in a total of 3 rooms in my house, and every time it ran for at least an hour and returned to the dock. I don't know if this is the same time, less time, or more time than my Roomba used to run before the old battery died. But all three rooms appeared to be fully vacuumed and the Roomba returned to the charging dock when it was done, so I'm perfectly happy with this replacement battery.*Edit Sept 7, 2022This battery stopped holding a charge about a year ago.

The pre-charged battery was easy to install and worked as advertised. After running the battery down to where it would normally be charged, it returned to the charger. Shortly after starting to charge, the 780 showed "Error 1". It was removed from and returned to the charger multiple times and met with the same error. The battery was then removed and reseated a few times where it now gets an "Error 7" (failed to cool down).I reached out to the vendor via the email address provided in the other reviews and got no response. I was simply looking for a workaround as I was outside the return period.

Got the job done. I have an old school roomba that was only lasting seconds then would need to be charged a second time. Did some basic trouble shooting and figured my last ditch effort was a new battery. My last one was same type, lasted about 4 years which is a pretty good bang for your buck

worked great. Haven't notice any issues with the battery. Most of the issue is with the Roomba itself. If you need a battery, I'd get this one.

Bought to replace the battery in my Roomba but oftentimes, the Roomba refuses to charge because it recognizes this battery as not being a genuine Roomba brand charger. I have to mess with the charger and usually I can get it to charge but it’s largely inconvenient. While this battery was the less expensive option, I would not repurchase this again.

The battery capacity of my 3.8Ah battery turned out to actually have 1.4Ah.Since installing this battery, my Roomba has yet to complete a cleaning cycle on its own. I finally got fed up enough to test the battery out on my Turnigy Accucell 6. Of 4 charge/discharge cycles I received a very consistent discharge capacity averaging 1412mAh (at 300mA down to 0.8v per cell). This was very close to my initial discharge fresh out of the Roomba of 1402mAh.To add insult, the final discharge rate is so fast that my Roomba has never made it back to it's home charger even with the auto-home return feature of the 960 model. As soon as the voltage becomes a problem, it's too dead to drive back. Even my old second hand battery would have enough left to do a mid-cleaning recharge.

Was nervous to buy this product as it was not straight from manufacturer. It came and was easy to replace. The battery life on my old battery was down to less than 10 min. With this we have a new roomba again. Thanks!

My Roomba is working better than it did when new because this battery has a little bit more muscle than the original. Was able ed to recycle the old battery at our local recycling center.
