Great Product
Had to take battery out of Honda Civic 2018 because after I had been away for almost 2 weeks, upon on my return I found I couldn't start the car, engine turned like 3 times then nothing happened. Tried a jump kit and engine turned 7-8 times then drained my jump kit from full to empty after trying 3 times. So I placed an order for this charger, next day delivery. I'm truly surprised how well this has worked up to now. So when the charger arrived I read the instructions, they could have been clearer regarding EFB batteries, had to do some research to find that AGM and EFB batteries are charged the same way. At around 3pm I put the battery on charge with 12v AGM setting selected and at 8:30pm the battery is almost fully charged with the 100% green light flashing (not quite there yet) :) the battery when initially connected was flat the 25% light was flashing for a couple of hours indicating the the charge left in the battery was less than 25% so im pretty confident that this product can charge an almost if not fully dead battery.Overall great product, good value for money.Fingers crossed everything is good when I finally go place the battery back in my car

My easy instructions
Instructions not to clear. Here is my version; Connect red clip to the plus terminal, black clip to minus terminal, plug in and switch on the power, stand by button goes to green, for normal car battery press mode button once, first light in the box goes red and in the top row 25% goes to red, just leave the charger to get on with it... after a while the 50% button will flash orange, after a time it go steady orange, after a while it will go 75% then on to 100% steady green when battery full( my battery took about 5 hours, different batteries time will differ no doubt. Its as simple as that.I then did the repair option, I think this best done when battery has some charge in it, I know that sounds Irish, anyway, starting with power off, switch the power on, hold mode button for 3 secs, touch button mode once more to move to repair, green light flashes, mine took about 4 hours the changed to solid green. Job done.I like this machine does a good job (do not start engine when attached) when removing, switch of power take black clip off first. Hope this makes sense.

It would have been 5 stars except for one minor issue
First impressions are good and I would have given this 5 stars except for one small issue which could so easily have been rectified. I bought this as a trickle charger to keep the battery of my 2nd car fully charged whilst it is off the road during the winter months. The battery is in a relatively inaccessible place so I decided to use the eyelet connectors and leave them permanently attached to the charging points rather than using the traditional clamps on the battery. The positive connection was fine but the negative connection had to go to the earth and the hole in the eyelet was too small to go over the earth connection so, after several attempts and one bent eyelet, I had to remove the eyelet and revert to the traditional method of making the earth connection using the bare wire wrapped around the earth connection and clamped. As I said, a relatively minor issue but one I’m sure others may well have experienced.

Great budget charger
I own alot of plant & machinary that quite often dont get used so need to keep on top of battery maintenance. I own 4 of these chargers purchased over the past year or so. All except 1 work great, I contacted the seller and new charger was sent straight out and been problem free. I like these chargers as they are very cheap for what they are. They are not as water resistant as stated however I use some outside but covered over without issue. They also come with crocodile clips to temporerily attach to a battery or a extra cable that can be perminently fixed to the battery with a quick release connector. I use on big truck batteries as well as tiny kids toys batteries without issue. Very easy to use however need to spend 2 mins reading the instrutions to understand the different modes. Every home garage should have 1.

Excellent little gizmo.
I needed a battery charger suitable to recharge the flat battery in my wife's Smart Car, which has MHD (stop/start) fitted. This seemed to fit the bill, got good reviews and I was very pleased at how easy and foolproof it was to set up and use; the hardest part was accessing the battery, which in a Smart is under the carpet in the footwell. The instructions are in good, clear English, which always helps. After an overnight charge the car started at the first turn of the key, confirming the green '100% charged' LED. I also liked the inclusion of a plug-in connector, so I won't have to get at the battery again to keep it topped up when the car isn't being used much. I expect motorhome or classic car, etc. owners will find this feature useful for the same reason. 5*****'s!

Super value, works well. If yours charges at 6v read this...
I'd used this a few times to top up a car battery and it did a superb job each time. It gives you a nice clear indication of how depleted the battery is, and how much time on the charger it needs. Last time I tried to charge though, the charger would not shift from 6v mode, and it thought that my 12v battery was a fully charged 6v. I think a safety feature was preventing me from switching to 12v.The battery was so badly depleted that it needed recovery mode, accessible by holding down 'Mode' for 3s. About 30 minutes of recovery was enough that I could switch back to regular 12v charging mode. All in all, incredible value for all you're likely to need for charging regular car batteries.
