My hair is exactly like Shakira's.It's my second time using this product, I usually get it for the summer as I don't want to straighten it during the warm months, and to be able to go swimming without having second thoughts about it.It makes my hair really really smooth and straight.You do have to be careful on how you apply it, I find it best to keep the hair untied and straighten it a few times a day when you have the treatment on, at least for one or two days.The first time I went swimming the next day so I only had the treatment on for like a day and a half, in which I straightened about 4 times. It stayed smooth for I think.. two months (this was with pool and open sea swimming).Now the second time was just last week, I kept it on for two and a half days but only used the flat iron twice during that period, and also tied my hair in a low pony because it was too hot. My hair still looks and feels amazing.It took out a bit of the fantasy pastel pink color I had on the tips, and those tips are frizzier than the rest of the hair (because of the bleaching) so maybe you'd want to have that in mind, but overall an amazing product that I will keep on buying.

I had a Brazilian blow dry in a salon around 9 years ago and I'd say this works just as well, maybe better. I've now used it twice and still have enough product left for one more treatment. I did the treatments about 3 months apart, without help from anyone else. I have naturally EXTREMELY frizzy and wavy hair. This doesn't make it completely straight but that isn't what I want anyway. It just takes away about 50-75% of the frizz and leaves hair looking and feeling softer and smoother. After 2 treatments I have the hair of a normal person instead of a frizzy witch! My hair isn't completely smooth now but it is a vast improvement on what I had, which really was awful. As long as you leave yourself plenty of time for the treatment and have good ventilation it is fairly simple to do by yourself.

I had the thickest hair of anyone I know even though it's been bleached and dyed crazy colours for 13+ years. That hair is from my brush, that's every time. I chose to ignore the previous reviewer stating she lost half her hair, thinking it won't happen to me, I'm actually devastated, followed instructions to the letter, I even went to get blood tests as I thought it could be a medical issue causing it, but no, this product is the only different thing I've used. Took a couple of weeks to start noticing the hair loss, it's not breakage from damage but actually coming out from the root, I've had to buy Regaine to try stop it before I get bald spots. I do not know what the hell is in this product but please think twice, especially if your hair is already fine and thin, thank god mine was really thick, currently having to wear a hair halo & praying it grows back.

So, after much research purchased this product. I had had my hair straightened before but the previous product used is no longer available (had been discontinued). Application of this was exactly the same as previous product I had used.... (i.e., long winded but worth the effort - my hairdresser did it for me). Result after application was completely straight and I waited the recommended three days before washing with the included shampoo and condition. Hair was still straight but not “poker” straight and “flat” which I preferred. Hair is super glossy and feels amazing three weeks on and, styling is a dream. It’s completely transformed my hair which, although not super curly, had the annoying ability to puff up and frizz at any sign of humidity. I have deliberately waited three weeks before reviewing as this is the information I would like to know and other reviews were not telling! I don’t think this product is as strong as the previous one I used but I kind of prefer it and will definitely use again.

First time using this product. From someone with naturally wavey have, I am no stranger to using treatments. Upon looking for a product and wanting to try something new I purchased this which arrived next day.I instantly opened it, read all the instructions and began to apply.After the treatment done its thing, it was only then I noticed it had completely stripped all the colour from my hair. So in short I’m thrilled at how straight as sleep my hair is but I’m going to have to book in with my hair dresser and pay over £100 to have my colour completely redone. I’ve been left with a gingery looking colour to my hair now which is really not me!I would recommend this product but only for none coloured hair.Unfortunately a bitter sweet experience for me.

My hair was very frizzy. I have shoulder length hair and the bottom half of it was always frizzy. It wasnt curly enough to leave as it was and to make it neat I would straighten it. But that is a nuisance every day and makes your hair worse in the long run. I decided to try this and got my niece to put it on for me as very difficult to do yourself. There are strong fumes when you blow dry your hair with the product on but that is the only time. When it was straightened by my niece it was pretty much fume free.I did it nearly 3 months ago and I have used the paraben free shampoos and conditioners available since and it is still very straight and frizz free all this time after. I have also dyed my hair twice since I had it done and it's still frizz free. I wish I had known about this treatment years ago.If my hair gets damp it stays straight. You do need help to put it on properly other than that it is an excellent product.
