Ventirad EK Water Blocks EK-Velocity D-RGB - Nickel + Acetal

Great component, looks clean , works awesome. Only thing I encountered as an issue was when I used Thermaltake fittings, the newer model , that have slide on tops , they are wider than most and I had a hard time tightening both ports down, I actually ended up swapping the out fitting for another so I had a better fit and peace of mind, but that wasnt EKs fault, just a heads up if you might have those fittings. Otherwise I highly recommend

Make sure when you get this water block you scan the QR code on the bottom of the box. I wish they would make that clear for buyers, since there are no instructions included. Also, I took one star off because the manual never tells you which set of screws to use for the water block. I found out which ones to use by going on YouTube and watching someone install it. You will get 2 sets of mounting screws, so make sure to note which ones to use. Most likely its the thicker ones on Intel based motherboards.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought my first one 3 weeks ago, the thing lit up, very dim but at least it was color accurate then it went off. ordered 2 more just fun case one was bad. turns out after 3 days of waiting, I tested both, brand new sealed didn't even open them, just made a small cut to pull out the wire. I tested and both of them are BAD one flickers but both are not cool accurate AT ALL. one is green when I say blue. most of the LEDs are either flickering or out. BAAAAAAD quality control considering it had a EKWB seal!! WTH is up with EKWB???????? the seller needs to confront the EKWB reps selling this product to him!!in this video I am showing 3 brand new EKWB CPU water blocks sealed all malfunctioning. TERRIBLE.

The first one I received was faulty from the beginning. One led was stuck on white/blue and wouldn't change with the rest. The one I have now worked in the beginning and was left on solid red for a couple months until it also had some LEDs turn white/blue and refusing to change to red. Very annoying that I have to drain my system just to fix this, and I hope EK support stands behind their products.

The backplate being just slightly off so opposing screws were just angled enough to make it impossible to have both screws installed simultaneously drove me crazy and my fingers are aching trying to get this damn thing in place. Returning it.

Arrivato difettoso, led lampeggianti e ronzio preoccupante.La piastra di fissaggio posteriore non è proprio user friendly, Poi oltre a questo quando l'ho montato non mi ha dato un gran senso di stabilità, la piastra tra wb di metallo e il cover in acetal erano tutte traballanti, senza contare il fatto che la mainboard si piegava in maniera anomala con la piastra posteriore del wb... Spero di aver beccato un esemplare difettoso, e in 15 anni di liquid cooling è la seconda volta che succede, sempre con EK... Anche se, chi sceglie EK lo fa per avere prodotti di alta qualità, vabbè.... Sarà per il prossimo tentativo, nel frattempo è salito di prezzo di circa 60€ però....
