Review: good action and some humor - I gave it a 5 because it was everything I hoped it would be. A good summer read for people who like action. Review: ...sort of frightening but makes the reader think. A really good spy espionage thriller... - Book Review - In Brad Thor’s “Spymaster”, I love seeing Scot Harvath grow and I love how Thor mentioned the events from previous books in the series. This book has so much details and seems eerily accurate with what's going on in the world today, which is sort of frightening but makes you think. As the others in the Harvath series, this book's plot was just as intriguing. I did not, however, like the cliffhanger but I must admit that for the first time I was intrigued and anticipate the next book in the Scot Harvath series. Normally when I read a book with a cliffhanger it leaves a sour taste in my mouth, but this is Brad Thor, so... Nevertheless, I love Harvath's character so I want him to hang around for a while! Good read...!

WOW!
WOW! What a ride. Author Brad Thor’s recently released “Spy Master” most certainly is timely to international events and perhaps a view of the future of America’s relationships with Europeans and Russians. Assassinations and bombings are occurring throughout NATO with a group called the People’s Revolutionary Front taking credit, only that there is no such group. U.S. intelligence believes the Russians are behind this, to cause stress among NATO allies, so when Russia makes a move to invade the Baltics, that NATO will not respond, even though the three Baltic countries are members of NATO. And, America certainly does not want to be drawn into a major war. Scott Harvath and his team are sent to Europe to follow clues to learn the Russian intelligence structure that is behind the assassinations and work their way up to the leadership of the group. The action in Norway, Sweden and Kaliningrad is non-stop and the Harvath teams works do discover the Russian cells that have been planted in several countries. This reader appreciates the research, writing ability and suspense that author Thor puts into his novels. Generally, the story is realistic and believable. And, as usual, the novel ends in such a fashion that you can’t wait to see the story resume in his next novel, which we suspect will.

With intense action and spine-chilling adventures, this book stands as one of the top books in thriller genre of 2018. The plot of this book will keep you glued to the pages and I bet will make you would want to finish it in one sitting! Cherry on the top is that the climax is as thrilling as the entire book and will leave you wondering what’s the next book is going to be like. BOND, eat your heart out.
This was my first Brad Thor book, and it won’t be my last. I was immediately swept into an unexpected thrill ride that I didn’t want to end. Set in the alluring, sexy world of espionage, Thor’s 18th Harvath novel is packed with high-stakes suspense, history, exotic locations, and badass special operatives that had me reconsidering chasing my one-time dream of working for the CIA. Thor is a master at sprinkling delicious little breadcrumbs throughout every chapter, expertly unraveling a tightly-woven plot that keeps you turning the pages. Played out through a motley crew of characters, the pieces of the puzzle eventually come together in an explosive ending that will leave your jaw dropped. If you like James Bond, find yourself switching between the History Channel and Travel Channel, and love complex, gripping thrillers, you’ll love Spymaster. FIVE STARS. Highly recommend.
