I plan to make some special gifts with the help of this book.

I knew about Svetlana from Instagram (@sotakhandmade) and her sewing work became my favorite on my feed. The book is beautifully designed and it comes in a high quality paper, I love that she included her favorite tools, materials, techniques and useful tips besides the 20 beautiful projects. Its a great book for a gift or for you.

The book is beautiful to look at, but the projects are also beautiful and still practical and useful. The instructions are well written and there are plenty of photos and graphics to help you as well. I can't wait to try so many of these projects.

I loved the quality and simplicity of the projects in this book. With very few tools useful items for my home or for gifts can be made. Printed on lovely paper with beautiful pictures and simple instructions, I felt I could make them all. All of this for the price of one pattern for pouches that I’ve previously purchased. Loved the book.

I was excited to find this sewing book. Why? Because it wasn't filled with the typical colorful cotton prints sewing projects! I wanted a sewing book that focused on more on minimal and modern solid fabrics mixed with SOME prints. The projects are approachable, which if you're a beginner, the steps along with the photos included will help you. If you're more advanced, there are projects, like her wallet, to challenge you. Her projects are a great stepping stone for beginners to help them become a more experienced sewist. I'm a beginner- intermediate, so these projects are going to help me strength my skills and even make me a better sewist.

I really like this book and can't wait to start sewing from it. I am just trying to decide what pattern to start with. The only thing I don't like is that the instruction pictures are so small. I am a visual learner and am losing sight in one of my eyes, so it would have been better with bigger pictures. But I will definitely use this book. There was not one pattern in it that I did not like!

I am so glad that I bought this book. The projects are different from the projects in other books/websites. They are stylish and the instructions are easy to follow.

This is a lovely book. There is a nice range of projects and the directions are clear and easy to follow. I bought this book for one particular bag that I liked but have found several more that I’ve put into my queue to sew. I may not make every project in this book but I bet I come close!

I have most of Svetlana's standalone patterns and this book is a great addition.The book itself is beautiful and inspiring, and the patterns, with added tips and amendments are all clearly written, perfect for both novice or experienced sewists.The variety of projects will mean that there will be something for everyone.The fabric choices and whole aesthetic match my taste, however if you prefer different choices of fabric, it would not take a great stretch of imagination to add your personal style.I highly recommend this book, and look forward to making many of the projects, many times.

Das Buch mit seinen durchdachten Anleitungen gefällt mir sehr gut. Viele der Anleitungen dienen auch als Ideen-Geber für eigene Anpassungen. Da das Buch auf Englisch ist, sollte man zumindest im Bereich der spezifischen Fachausdrücke Grundkenntnisse haben, wobei aber auch sehr viele deutliche Bilder zu jedem Arbeitsschritt vorhanden sind. Würde ich wieder kaufen!
