BlackBerry Q10 Unlocked Cellphone, 16GB, White

Personally, i think people's rate on this brand is inaccurate and unfair. Also I don't think BB phones should be compared with iPhones because they are totally different devices. If you don't feel ready to jump directly to a touchscreen phone this is your perfect fit. If you work with emails, web browsing on the go, documents edition and so forth, again this is the perfect match. People's complains about the lack of apps as the BB's weakness have been solved since the new OS was released a couple weeks ago. Now you can install Android apps without a problem directly on your BB10. For me, this is the perfect combination between a powerful working tool, and an excellent entertainment device. You can watch movies from your phone directly to your HD TV with one touch and many other things. This is a great phone.

After losing an iPhone to water damage I simply refused to pay $600 for a replacement. I turned to the Blackberry because it did three things very well: it's a good phone, it's easy to text with thanks to the keyboard and it plays music. I never anticipated turn by turn directions in the map app and new surprises pop up almost weekly as I use it now. The screen is smaller than what I was using but, then again, I'm not using it for the screen so it's no big deal. If you're ready to break away from your addiction to the iPhone this may be a good choice - and the Passport offers a larger screen and some innovative technology with the keyboard. Now, if we can just keep Blackberry in business this will become a great move.

I purchased this phone as a back up after my previous Q10 died. Obviously the Blackberry OS is no longer a player in the smartphone market. But for anyone looking for a workhorse phone and doesn't need the bells and whistles of the latest apps, the Q10 is great. The touchscreen is responsive and of course there is the iconic Blackberry keyboard. Compared to today's smartphones, this is much smaller, which makes it easier to hold and operate for smaller hands. This particular phone is being used for a second emergency cell line - I don't need an iPhone or Galaxy 8 for that - so it works for me. Because it is unlocked, it is also the phone I take with me on overseas missions (with less fear of losing my more expensive everyday phone). So while it is definitely an older phone and OS, it can still be a good choice in some circumstances.

DO NOT BUY! I bought this phone on Oct 12th, the screen went black and phone unusable by Jan 13th. I was on a business trip and had to buy a new phone immediately. Requested a refund and was told they would not because it was beyond 30 days, but said they'd take a look at it to see if it was MY FAULT the phone died. I bought a FRONT AND BACK protective case, never dropped, never abused this phone. I work very hard for every dollar I make and take very good care of the things I have to buy. I told Seller they should initiate the return because the phone was a hunk of junk. This is what they said, "(My name) you have had the phone for months now. The Amazon return policy is 30 days. Please do not be rude. How can you claim the phone is junk when you've used it for months. Please explain how it is junk. I will then see what can be done" My response was, "Three months...THREE...Junk!" What the heck is going on when we think that a $125 constitutes a good buy for three months of use? Seriously! The audacity! I cannot imagine telling someone to basically, jump in a lake, shut up and be happy because they were already over privileged to have been graced with the use of a product for 90 days. I called AMAZON and they backed the seller. I spend thousands a year on this site...I'm going to seriously have to rethink that. I miss the mom and pop stores.

The blackberry Q10 was exactly what I wanted because I wanted the blackberry style and keyboard with the touch screen and ease of use of a smartphone. All the phone functions work great, has neat tricks to make moving around the phone easier. Applications don't work very well but I got it for the phone and email capabilities, not the apps. I was very glad the calendar was able to sync with my two gmail calendars that I need for work! Overall, great phone!

This is a phone of quality built for communication. The Blackberry Hub is absolutely fantastic, the keyboard luxurious, and the hardware beautiful. Phone's not the most powerful thing on the market today, but the processing power is more than enough for sending messages, writing emails, etc. Blackberry 10 is a great OS that's very fast and I find much more intuitive than Android or iOS. Only main qualm is the app selection. While you can install Android apps, anything that relies on Google Play Services (Play Music, Google Maps, etc.) will not run properly on the phone. Still, if you're looking for the best way to communicate with people and are not buying a phone for the apps, this one is perfect. Also, some people mentioned receiving Verizon models instead of the international model. I can confirm that Joycells ships the true international version as that is the one I've received from them.

So happy with the phone I brought, it arrived on time which was big for me. I'm leaving the country so it is a last minute gift . Charged i but have not done anything else screen is nice and clear will be setup in the country im hoing will have more as far fuction when.I get there so far super happy. Had a hard time with finding this color so I am so happy about the color and delivery time. If everything else is as smooth with this phone will be making other purchases. So happy thus far. Thanks a million to be continued.

I wish it was still socially acceptable to have these as our phones! I bought this and I love this phone! Works perfect. The battery lasted me like 2 days.

Ho modificato l'indirizzo in corsa e ho richiesto una spedizione velocissima per esigenze personali: sono stata accontentata e il tutto con grande gentilezza e professionalità. GRAZIE. Il telefono è superlativo. Ogni giorno imparo qualcosa di nuovo e ogni giorno rimango sorpresa dall'altissima performance di questo prodotto. Un vero peccato che abbia perso mercato in Europa. Un gioiello preziosissimo in quanto a tecnologia e, per gli amanti dei tasti, assolutamente impareggiabile. Attenzione! Lo schermo touch è davvero sensibilissimo: per chi non ne è abituato, come me, inizialmente si fa un po' di confusione. Questione di pochi giorni e poi l'integrazione touch/tastiera diventa insostituibile.

Primero, es muy bonito y sus terminaciones muy buenas. Obviamente lo compré por el teclado, que sin dudas me sorprendió, habiendo tenido el Bold 9780 por 5 años. Muy práctico e intuitivo, se le pueden cargar aplicaciones .apk de Android. Así que no necesita nada si tu prioridad es un buen teclado, con el que no tendrás margen de error al tipear, sumada la pantalla táctil, una combinación insuperable. Para las fotos te da la opción de tomar en formato cuadrado o panorámico, prefiero el cuadrado para que no se deforme la imagen, lo que suele suceder con la fotografía de móviles.

Ok, so this is my first EVER one-star review on anything, believe it or not!! Having upgraded from a humble 8520 but also having used iPhones & such previously, I can say the following based on a full 24h usage: Whoever designed this product should be ashamed of themselves! SOFTWARE Environment: badly thought out, why oh WHY do they need all those acrobatics to get to the Hub??? On Bb OS7 & 5 there was one main *button* for this one could just click and get to all messages, Bb10 makes us go through all sorts of antics to get to "The Hub" , WHY?!?!?!!! The Hub and direct communications were Blackberry's massive competitive advantage... and they've WRECKED it!!! Messaging: Bb10 actually has LESS options for messages!!! (delete original message: gone; delete from handset OR server: gone, etc. etc.) 'App'/"Blackberry" world: more like a sorry excuse for a waste of battery - there is literally 1/100th available on there compared to IOS (Apple) and a LOT less than the equivalent for Blackberry World for Bb5 & Bb7 - ab-so-lu-tely resolutely BIZARRE. SLOW. Veeeeery SLOW (after 5mins use). HARDWARE: shoddy, shoddy, shoddy!!!!!!!!!!!!! USEless screen which loses (!!) its touch sensitivity entirely at the edges once it gets hot, oh yes, and does it get hot!!!!!!! Give it 5mins use and you're there! The 'Space' key is starting to come loose!!!!!!!! (after just 12hrs full use!) keyboard quality a *lot* worse than 'basic' 8520, a LOT worse. Battery time AS good as cheapo Blackberries (eg. 8520) running Bb5. Shame on you Blackberry!!!!!!!!!! I am now looking into sending it back to coporate HQ with a nice little letter attached, I've already spent the cash, I'm never going to get a refund anyway, and will be looking to buy a *proper* phone i.e. the iPhone 4c! *DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!* If you want a Blackberry, buy the Blackberry 5 or 7 models, they are just so much BETTER, so much more functional, so much more qualitative, don't waste your money on this, it is ONE Biiiiiiig *flop* (if ever I saw one).

con prime , è arrivato in un giorno , anzi anche meno, l'ho ordinato alle 17 del 11/4 e mi è arrivato alle 10,30 circa del 12/4. velocissimi... ottimo per messaggiare e telefonare , questo Q10 si tiene bene in mano senza sgusciarti via per il suo retro un po' quadrettato . un telefono elegante ma allo stesso tempo ad effetto robusto per il suo profilo in metallo. ottimo lo schermo , ottimo il suono . ottima tastiera meno rumorosa del Q5 , anche lo schermo molto bello in amoled . come connessione supporta fino al 4g , la batteria è removibile e l'alloggiamento di sd e sim è all'interno vicino alla batteria che è più comodo . ha la porta sia USB che HDMI ( ma il cavetto HDMI bisogna comprarlo , non è compreso) per ora funziona tutto sia dal test integrato che fuori dal test ( bbm , radio , telefonate , importazione da google , ecc..) devo dire che i blackberry con il sistema operativo 10 hanno una protezione in automatico , meglio non comprarli usati a meno che non siano garantiti da amazon altrimenti potrebbero non funzionare bene come un Q5 che aveva la bbm bloccata( perchè bisogna sempre eliminare il dispositivo dal proprio acccount blackberry id per rivenderli, altrimenti son guai) e non mi importava i contatti e il calendario google in automatico come sono abituata a fare con qualsiasi blackberry .

The Q10 on BOS 10.1 is not easy to setup but once you update to 10.3 it becomes another phone. For a phone that came out in April 2013 it is surprisingly good to use, fast, no lag and very user friendly. I have all my apps from BBW or Amazon appstore and they're good enough for me.With Cobalt 's help on Crackberry it's very easy to setup Googleplay. The qwerty keyboard is easy to use and I love it, coming from an iPhone 5s. I get two days on normal use and more than 24 hours with some gaming on a single charge. Great phone. The Hub and swipes make this the best phone experience I've had in a long time. Phone came unlocked. If you're hesitant don't be it's agreat phone and it won't lock you in its environment forever like Apple does. NB. Phone gave up after less than one week. After checking all the forums, found out this is a common problem with the Q10 and Z10. Either battery dies and doesn't boot up or LCD screen goes dark but phone still rings. I don't know which fault affected mine but returned to Amazon promptly for a full refund. So full marks to Amazon.co.uk. The Q10 is a very nice phone and BBOS 10 is fantastic despite the lack of native apps but I got a lemon.
