McCall'sPatterns M5778 Holiday Decorations, One Size Only

I used this pattern for several fabric trees that I have given to family and friends. They were popular in the 1980’s, I had forgotten about them until about 3 years ago when I wanted to make them once again. I found the pattern on Amazon, thankfully, as I no longer had my original one.

Very easy pattern to follow for the large Christmas tree! They came out really nice, just a heads up, as the large Christmas tree, takes about 32 ounces of Poly Fil if you stuff it firmly!

I got this for the trees! My mom made one of these stuffed trees when she was a young adult (before I was born) and I have loved it my entire life! I always wanted to make one, but for some reason, my mom thought I did not like the tree, so she got rid of her pattern. I was so happy to discover this pattern! I made a small tree for my mom for Christmas (pictured... pieced it together incorrectly, oh well) and a large one for 2 of my friends. I think I'll try some of the other items out, too.

This pattern is easy to use and will be this year’s Christmas gifts!

The media could not be loaded. So simple, easy to read. I made the large tree and it took 2 x 500kg bags of stuffing 😄 but so worth it.

Made the small Christmas Tree this year and everyone was well impressed.
