Bought this because I was so fed up with a short ladder and not being able to reach everywhere I want to. This ladder is sturdy but not as heavy as it looks and so I can move it about and carry it myself without help. I am 5' 2" and 68 years of age. The ladder is sturdy and I feel very safe on it. It says 6 tread but you should not stand on the top, that is for placing tools, nails etc. For the price, you get a sturdy, easy to open/close durable ladder. Great value for money.

Outstanding quality
I've been using these for a few months. They are strong and sturdy, me and my partner are always on a project in the house from decorating to installing new light fixtures, these are just perfect. The space on the top is ideal for tools and paint. They fold up and are stored without taking up too much space.

I only purchased these stepladders because my real ladders left me when I was only eight years old. Seriously it's a no brainer. Great set of ladders that are strong and practical and will last a lifetime if looked after.
