Beautiful
This film is great. It brings so much color into my room. Depending on the time of day and whether it’s darker inside or out you’ll get a range from green/blue to bright pink, or reflective yellow/orange.I was a little worried by the negative reviews, but I’m glad I purchased this anyway. A couple things you should understand about this film before buying: 1) it’s a one-way mirrored film. This means it does work for privacy during the day, but not at night. 2) For installation, be sure that your windows are totally clean/free of dust or paint flecks. Then, spray the window with soapy water. This water layer helps you reposition the film until it’s perfect. Don’t try to install it without the water, it’ll be very difficult and probably turn out bubbly. 3) Vinyl window clings like this are much easier to install with a plastic and felt scraper. It makes them much much smoother. If you’re installing more than one or two windows, get a scraper.

Wow!! The color…
I bought this to use in my resin projects. The colors it produces are gorgeous!

Beautiful Holographic Film
I haven't applied this yet to homemade lampshades but the idea is to add color to otherwise dull, usually fabric, lampshades and diffuse glare from an LED lightbulb.

Colorful and fun but have patience
Out of the box it was wrapped in plastic wrap so be careful undoing it. The clear backing that is to be removed before application was difficult to find and get the corner up to start peeling. It’s a little fumbly trying to hold the cling in place against the window while simultaneously pressing it in, keeping it from creasing, peeling the back off as you go, adding soapy water because it dried out as you attempt to balance everything, and trimming to size. If I were to do it again I’d probably measure my windows precisely and cut each piece - not sure if that’s a better solution. But a nice sharp razor definitely helped.Overall it took maybe an hour by myself to get it up. And the colors on the wall are pretty cool! It’s also mirrored. During the day you can see outside but can’t see inside. At night, with the lights on in the house, you can see inside but not outside.I’d buy it again.

Great effect
Looks great. Application was not to hard. The only thing is if you get a crease in the product you will see it after installing. Try to keep it rolled as best as possible to avoid creasing. Easy to install with soapy water and squeegee.

Great for crafts!
I bought this to use for crafts, specifically resin coasters/dishes. It works great if you do a layer of clear first and then stick the holo sheet to the clear. This one was made for my dog walker for Christmas!

Worse tint I've ever used
Seek another brand. This is the most frustrating, messy window tint i have ever used.Cons:Very brittle and easily dented. If the backing doesn't pull off perfectly evenly, the tint rips vertically (re min 3 hands needed)The adhesive is completely pointless and fights you the entire time. (The soapy water alone would hold it to the glass fine)Catches every single piece of particulate in the air and creates permanent imperfections all over.Even if youve flattened it, the moment you begin to unpeel the backing, it begins curling again.. rolling itself back up. It's basically huge brittle fly paper.Cant be nudged into place before you squeegee bc of the adhesive. As soon as it shifts a mm, it sticks. You have to nail every corner and edge perfectly and simultaneously.Pros:Seems to block heat.Pretty if you stay about 4" backI feel like scraping it off and send it back :/

High quality film for a better price than the 3m alternative.
I just installed these on two large windows, I would suggest if you are installing them with blinds to skip the step of removing the adhesive, I just cut them to the size of the window well ( the blinds themselves ) which creates a nice sense of slight movement and extra bouncing light from the blinds themselves! A must have for any photographer, or instagrammer doing tabletop photos or artistic lighting setups. Use it as a light gel and just adjust the angle for perfect subtle gradients. Nice! Will buy again.
