One Size "Does" Fit All
This is one of those things that seems like in should work.Yet, some how - you feel that it won't work.Be prepared to be - not quite so disappointed - as you thought you would be.This stuff really works. It does work as advertised. Now, I haven't run one of these over a long durationorOver demanding loadsorOver varying loads.I just hooked one up to a furnace blower for a couple of weeks until I could get a conventional belt.I still have to admit that this rig does not inspire confidence. It is thinner than a regular belt.It necks down in width for the interconnecting links.By every dimension, it "has" to be weaker than the factory belt.Still this thing worked great. It had no problems doing what the other belt did. When it was swapped it back out, it showed very little wear. Not having a V - didn't seem to be an issue for this application. It looks like it would be intended more for flat pulleys. The interconnects do imply a grain - or direction of travel. So, install the belt so that the links lay down has they go over the drive pulley.I've seen this advertised more for shop equipment.Drill presses, table saws, compressors, etc. may sit for months on end with no use. This allows the conventional V belt to mold to a shape. The narrow pulley with a tighter radius - and, the larger pulley forming a more gradual radius. It also becomes more brittle. When the equipment starts to run, the belt is stiff and tight. Those shapes want to retain. This makes the equipment noisy, vibrating until the belt softens up to where it can bend and flex evenly over the pulleys. This Power Twist belt works around those issues. The memory deformations in the individual links are too small to be of consequence for the machine. There will still be issues of rot, and age related brittle-ing.but,Overall, it shouldn't matter.Plus, when and if it breaks, it only takes one extra/available link to repair it.It's not cheap on a per foot bases compared to conventional V-belts.but,You don't need dozens of them laying around in different sizes on the shelf getting brittle either. When you need one - you need one.I never have them break when the store is open - having a sale.

Excellent Product
I used this belt on a very heavy duty application. It has better grip than normal V belts. I had trouble with ordinary V belts coming off. The Power twist lasts a long time. Is excellent for pulley mis-alignment. If it breaks, just repair.
