The best plantar fasciitis remedy you'll ever try!
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. In addition to this, my arches are almost completely flat. Because of these two conditions, walking or standing for long periods of time can be very hard. Every morning, I wake up with pain in my heel because of the plantar fasciitis.Well, I did, anyway--then I bought a pair of these sandals. I've tried multiple orthotics and inserts, molds made especially for my heel, my arches, etc. I've spent hundreds of dollars on sneakers made for people with issues like mine. While they certainly help, nothing has been more transformative than these Zori sandals. I wear these every day; when I get up in the morning, I slip them on. I take them off to shower and when I'm leaving the house. During times I would normally be barefoot, I wear these. They train my arches and reduce pain: my heels no longer ache in the morning; I don't feel that familiar slow ache in my arches when I walk, and I'm completely pain-free.My first pair of Zori sandals wore out after 1.5 years of wear. Considering how inexpensive they were, this was a great deal. I waited a few weeks before ordering my second pair because I was wondering if my feet had improved because of the sandals, or on their own. The pain returned after about a week: it was the sandals that were keeping my feet in good shape. I went ahead and ordered a few more pairs, because I know that as long as I have these, I'll walk better, faster, and without pain.As for wearing them: they're cool to the touch; my feet don't sweat in them. They have a decent grip on the bottom. Obviously, you don't want to go running on ice in them, but they're not slippery at all. The thong part of them is a sturdy but lightweight cloth; it doesn't irritate the area between my big toe and second toe like other thong-style sandals. I can wear them all day without feeling uncomfortable. Unlike other orthotics that hurt while your feet get used to them, they worked pretty much right away, too, which is nice.I know that this sounds a little bit melodramatic, but these sandals have made such a big impact in my life that I really want to give them the credit they deserve. For the first time in years, I can take long walks in my neighborhood; I don't wake up in pain in the morning, I can exercise longer and more effectively than before. I no longer have to make up excuses not to walk across campus to get lunch with friends, and I don't take the bus or car short distances when I can walk instead. If you have plantar fasciitis or low arches, please try these out and see if they work for you.

Zori flip flops
I have worn these kind of flip flops for many years. These fit me fine, in one size smaller than other summer sandals. The cloth part in between the toes, makes them more comfortable. You might find they are a little tight when you first wear them. I have problems with my feet and these help because they have more arch support and are wider, too. I don’t think they’re overpriced either because they have lasted me more than a few summers.

Very comfortable sandal.
I previously had this sandal, that I bought from my local drug store, many years ago. My original sandal wore out and I needed a replacement. As my drug store no longer carried this sandal, I turned to Amazon, which had an exact replacement for the sandal that I fell in love with many years ago.As they are easy to slip-on, I use them in place of a bedroom slipper.

I liked it
Comfortable and very supportive... thus, a little bit heavier than a standard flip-flop...

Sandal Loser
Nothing about this sandal is right. Right foot straps are not cut evenly so foot tries to stay off center when walking. Heel cup retention is bad. Toe box area is too narrow, sandal is cut almost the same width the entire length. Straps are too tight for my high arch and makes it difficult to get them on and off. Worst sandals I have had in a long time. Plan on cutting them up and using the bottoms for padding on some equipment I have. I would have returned them but I wore them for a few days hoping that they would somehow correct some of their deficiencies by stretching into shape, did not happen. Appears to be some more imported junk that was never actually tested on a human foot. Will not work as an orthopedic sandal at all.

Runs Extremely Small – Size Up!
I’m a men’s size 9.5, 5’9”, 190 pounds, and I first ordered the Neat Zori (Z-O-R-I) sandals in a size 9—way too small. I then ordered a size 10, and even those were still way too small. In the photo I posted, I’m wearing the size 10, and my foot is pushed all the way forward to the edge of the band, but my heel still hangs off the back. The fit is also extremely tight across the top. If you’re a size 9 or 9.5, I strongly recommend going up to at least a size 11. The sandals seem well made, but the sizing runs very small.

Great house slippers for summer or beach
I use these mainly for in the house, I sometimes suffer with plantar fasciitis and wearing these help tremendously. They are very comfortable and durable. The rubber soles are very good quality and offers good grip. I take them in the shower and give the insoles a scrub with soap about once a week. My first pair lasted me about 2 years before the insoles started to separate. I reattached the insoles with shoe goo and now I have a backup pair.

5 would've been perfect. I have high arches and was looking for ...
This is a tough one because of the lack of half sizes. I ordered a size 10 at first. Sizes are so up in the air as depending on the manufacturer, I can wear a 9, 9.5 & a 10, depending on the brand. The 10's were too big, so I returned them immediately before I wore them more than 30 seconds and ordered 9's. A 9.5 would've been perfect. I have high arches and was looking for sandals that accommodated that. At one point, my podiatrist told me that I should NEVER wear sandals again. I'm not a sandal junkie, but living all my life in S. California, (not Cali.,) that was not an option. These arches are up there and do what I was looking for. After wearing expensive, but low arch sandals, it took a while for my feet to re-adapt, but they did and are happy feet again. These have better support than many of my shoes and boots do, even with after market and custom made arch supports.
