Light isn't that effective

First I will say the magnifier is great. I absolutely love it. The light, however, is extremely disappointing. It's very dim and I find it really hard to see while I'm working on my embroidery, which is why I bought this. So I am in the hunt for a different brand.

I bought this for my cross stitch projects. I liked that it would clip on my hoop, scroll bar or stand. I loved that it had a light. Unfortunately, the light didn't even last an hour of stitching. New batteries didn't solve that problem either. I bought it in July and to ight sat down to stitch and the clip broke! I always unclipped it if I was getting up and set it aside if I wasn't stitching. There was not a lot of stress with it on the scroll bar but I guess it was too much. It might be better if the stand was used but I don't stitch at a table so that was not possible. I don't think I would recommend to a fellow stitcher

This has been the best light and magnifier for doing small crafts. Great price for great quality. Love it!

This is a great magnifier.....for a desk magnifier. I'd hoped I could use the clip to attach to my embroidery hoop, however, the clip is not strong enough to hold up the weight of this glass magnifier. It's such a wonderful desk item, & I love that the magnifier is glass...& I will use. I do hope they will replace with a stronger clip that will enable use with this clip.

This design was just what I was looking for, a light and magnifier I could clip onto my canvas frame. The light and magnifier attach to the clip but it is too heavy and the clip can’t support it. It droops over my work.

Bought for my wife she had one but damaged the lens, she loves it perfect light

Light came with batteries, but they had to be taken out and reinstalled before light would work. Led lights go dim within minutes of use. Magnifying glass(plastic) is a good size.
