Great product - here's how to use
Product works just fine, but before you purchase I recommend you check the Directed Electronics (Viper, Clifford) websites for an installer in your area.In order to get this to work, you will need them for them to activate it, and there's no way that I'm aware of for an end user to do so. Go by or call and ask what they charge, and expect to pay a reasonable fee for them to help you.The integration with the mobile security system is pretty straightforward, just read the instructions and check your connections. Before you activate it with the authorized dealer, you may want to make sure it is plugged in and everything checks out - LEDs show mobile network, GPS, and mobile security system communication are correct. Then, provide the dealer with the information they request, and it should be smooth sailing from there.

so much Faster! like a thousand times faster than the old 3g module
pretty much plug-n-play, you do have to do a new subscription with dei, they will credit you for any existing subscription, But Dude! soooo, much faster like instant by comparison to the 3g modules

Works Great
I have been using this since I had it installed. Its great to be able to remote start my car from a mile away. I also started it from Brazil while my car was in the garage in Denver Colorado! I just did it to see it the smart start was as advertised. So far no issues. One thing I must add though. Make sure your installer knows what they are doing. If it isn't installed right, the product will not work as advertised.

Works great.with Viper 4806v
It works great paired with a Viper 4806v. Had a pro install it, it took him 20 minutes total including programming.

Did the job; about what I expected
Love being able to start my car remotely. Purchased for a 2014 Honda Odyssey EXL. It will lock, unlock, and remote start. The bad which I knew going in is that when you open the door the engine cuts off. So you have to start it back up once you arrive to your car. Your installation dealer can program 12, 24, or 60 min run time. I went with 24. The aux doesn’t work for my car. My installation dealer couldn’t get it to open any side doors or trunk remotely. Another thing that stinks is that you can’t unlock your door with your oem remote when it is remote started. You will have to use the app to unlock, your directed key fob, or valet key.

Very fast and accurate
Very fast and accurate. I have some older modules and they take about 20-30 secs to update. This one only takes about 1 or 2 secs. Nice

Activation
You have to call directed to activate it, and if you installed it like I did by myself only one plug and power and ground wire you won't have any warranty.
