I've been looking for this tape for quite awhile. Couldn't believe how expensive some of them are. I was so happy to find this one reasonably priced. I use it on my office desktop to have handy for measuring, well, everything that needs to be measured. I also use it on my craft table. This tape is bright yellow, so you can remember it's there, it is accurate compared to my metal ruler, and can be written on easily (like if you want more than 12", you can put down two feet of tape, and easily sharpie out the 1-12 numbers on second foot and add your own measurements like 13", 14" 15" etc. LOVE that it has mm too. That has come in handy more than once. I have used it to make greeting cards for my construction friends' birthdays, and I've used it as a backdrop when I'm selling something online so potential customers can see the measurements right away. Photographs well. Adhesive has worked great, no smudges or problems even though it has things slide over it many times a day. Great product!

Use it in my sewing table, embroidery hoops and other misc uses. Works well, good adhesive, nice when a sewing tool is so reasonably priced.

Really love this! Stuck it on my craft table for easy measuring. Wish it was just a tad thicker... it's so thin it does tear easily & folds up on itself. Might be a 2 person job for accuracy, because it's so thin.

I work with miniatures at the 1 inch scale so I often use measuring tape to keep me on target. Rulers can get in the way and are often hard to manage when you're also manipulating wood and glue. I use the sticky measuring tape on my gluing board. It measures 2' x 1' with a 1/2 inch square wood piece attached on one long and one short edge to act as a border that holds what ever I am gluing in place. It also forms a 90° corner that comes in handy for miniature fences and furniture. The sticky ruler tape runs along all 4 edges so I don't have to guess at my measurements. It's terribly handy. My only complaint is that the numbers start over at the end of every 12 inches. If I am putting the sticky ruler on something less than a foot, I have to cut off enough tape to start me back at 0 for the next project. I always feel like I'm wasting tape. That being said, I would rather waste a small amount of tape that have to number everything myself.You also have to make sure that the tape is facing the same direction when you use it more than one time on the same object. For example, I can't turn my gluing board upside down without the numbers on one section of the tape being upside down as well. I know that sounds pretty obvious but I didn't think about it until I was actually doing it. I felt pretty clueless when I realized all my numbers weren't going in the same direction.I haven't had any trouble with it rolling or lifting up. I haven't really removed it from anything that it's been attached to for a long period of time so I can't comment on how easy it would be to take off if it were stuck down for more than a few hours.

I ordered this tape to use in a craft room application. I was very pleased with this tape. It's measurements are in 12 inch increments, it doesn't stretch at all, and measurement stays true. I've since applied it to the outer edge of my cutting board in the kitchen for cutting veggies, etc., precisely. It is similar to oilcloth fabric in its construction, making it easy to wipe clean. It worked great in my craft room application! It's approx 1/2 inch wide. It would also be great in a workbench application. I've had it in place for a couple of months with no indication of the adhesive coming loose. Quality product!

The writing is fine and small. Ok if you have perfect vision. Not what I was expecting.

I searched amazon for days looking for a half inch wide green adhesive measuring tape (like for sewing) to decorate the outer rim of my sewing basket....my way of making it similar to a St Jane sewing box. well all I found was 1in wide white or yellow. then this came up, met every qualification except it is not green. waited a few days, still the only option. so I gave in. low and behold 3 days later amazon jumps up with a 3 pack, varying widths from 1 1/2 inch down to a half inch in green. so damn mad I couldn't see straight. but did not want to return as I only paid $5 for this and taking it to a UPS would cost me like $7 in gas. however if you need a yellow adhesive ruler tape, perforated every 12in this is for you
