Q: If I use this in my backpack sprayer, how much of this product do I use per gallon of water to control mosquito larvae?

Thanks for the question! Flood water, roadside ditches, irrigation ditches, rice fields, pastures, woodland pools, snow melt pools, standing pools .25 - 1.0 pints / Acre or 3 - 12 ml / 1000 sq. ft.. Tidal water, salt marshes, catch basins, and storm water retention areas .50 - 1.0 pints / Acre or 3 - 12 ml / 1000 sq. ft.. Polluted water (sewage lagoons, etc.) water with moderate organic matter, and water with a high concentration of suspended solids 1.0 - 2.0 pints / Acre or 12 - 24 ml / 1000 sq. ft.. Apply MICROBE-LIFT/BMC in conventional aerial and ground application equipment with sufficient water to provide thorough coverage of the target area. The amount of water needed depends on weather, type of spray equipment and mosquito habitat. Make ground application in 5 - 100 gallons per acre in conventional equipment. Use as low as one gallon per acre surface area when the target area is open with light vegetative cover.

Q: Can this be used in the home on carpet and furniture i have this little flyers that grow and breed like crazy. they bite and eat everything!

I don't feel this would be effective. The BMC product is a bacteria that will grow in water and have an impact on the larvae development. If the mosquitos are in the house maybe try a bug light.

Q: Do we need to treat year round or stop treating when it gets cold? If so, at what temperature do we stop worrying about mosquitos?
