it's Le Parfait, what's not to love?
Exactly as Described. Item was securely packaged and arrived in perfect condition.I ordered the 1Liter and the 500ml/16-oz jars - the 1Liter jar is for homemade Vanilla extract and I'm completely excited about that. Can't wait to get started. The 500ml/16-ounce size is so versatile - it can be used for leftover vegetable's, jam, sugar, applesauce...whatever you need it for. I will be ordering a few more.Note: The Le Parfait jars are not some carnival or dollar store item, this is a quality made jar and the clip/flip locks are tight, as it should be. Don't be like those people in those videos and just slam the lock into place with one finger, that's not how it was designed to be used (and who's finger is that strong anyway? mine need backup from the thumb, at least) - be careful with it and slowly guide it into locking position with thumb and palm of hand up against the jar for leverage. I am usually holding the jar in one had and guiding the flip lock into place with the other - slam the lock down too hard (why would you do that?) and you run the risk of cracking the glass and then you're going to be one of those people complaining about how the glass broke/cracked...really? how could that have had happened?! sheesh. All I'm saying is, take care of it and it will last. It's just common sense. After a thorough handwash and dry, the seals on both jars went on with a bit of effort but they went into place, no problem.Le Parfait makes a quality item and I'm completely happy with my purchase.

Great company, great product.....................
These jars are so great and reminds me of how products used to be made. The glass is sturdy, the sealing ring is excellent. For years I've tried to find an onion keeper that doesn't smell up my entire refrigerator and now I have these wonderful jars. Not only do I love these jars, they came boxed from the company, so well packaged with lots of padding, each one in its own box. That shows me a company that cares about its products. After going through dozens of glass products made of glass as thin as tissue paper, or arriving shattered because of horrible packaging, this purchase was perfect !

Great Quality
Always love these bottles and any storage this company has. It’s great quality and looks good. I have many different types.

Matched my vision
Exactly what I was looking for: large, minimally ornamented storage jars from a good company. Packaging was easy to clean up and recycle and I've ordered the 1L plastic screw top version for comparison and more commonly accessed kitchen items. I've never used the spring version with any regularity and that is my only reservation putting every day staples in this type. The lids/gaskets kind of remind me of the orange Corning lids from my lab days, which I thought was fun.

250ml perfect for bulk spices, pic of spice rack included
This is the best solution for bulk spices! The little 250ml jars are just the perfect size, and they look so cute! I plan to buy about one box of jars per month until I have enough jars for all my spices. To get this look (see picture), I used ClosetMaid 1233 Adjustable 8-Tier Wall and Door Rack, and I used zip ties and Small Wire Command Hooks (GP067-16NA) as recommended by users in the reviews of the door rack. I used 10mm jump rings and 1.25" x 1/8" wooden circles from "yuhoshop" for the tags. I used an ultra-fine point sharpie marker (brown) to write on the tags. The tags are attached to the wire rack. To label the jars, I used my Dymo LetraTag label maker. The top of the jars has just the name of the spice, and I put labels with other information on the bottom of the jar (expiration, brand name, etc). I love how everything fits so perfectly and looks so nice. Plus, this has fixed the problem of husband putting spices back in the wrong spot! Amazon once accidentally sent me the wrong size, the 500ml ones, and they also fit in the rack but they must be turned sideways. So I sent them back and Amazon sent me the correct size I ordered, 250ml. I've purchased a total of about 5 boxes of these little jars so far, and none have been broken or chipped. They seem very very sturdy. The company, LeParfait, is dedicated to sustainability, recently switching their packaging supplies for all-cardboard packaging. The little box they come in is designed exceedingly well, protecting the little guys on their journey. I save the special packaging to give to my friend, who sells pottery.I keep all my bulk spices in gallon ziplock bags, in a big plastic tub, in the basement, and then I refill these little jars when they run low. They hold a lot, so I don't have to refill often. Maybe one day I will start buying the bigger jars to hold my large quantities of bulk spices in the basement, instead of ziplocks, but I only have the budget for one box of jars a month. After doing lots of research, I chose this brand over others because of their country of origin, France, their stellar customer reviews, google searches, the company's history, the company's stance on sustainability, and the content of the glass. No extra chemicals in there, just glass. I didn't want my food touching any questionable materials.Even though I thought they were a bit pricey at first, I know that they will last me for years, possibly the rest of my life. The acryllic plastic Anchor Home Collection jars I bought about 15 years ago are starting to crack due to age, and I am replacing them with LeParfait. I know I won't have to replace these LeParfait ones. Plus, they fit on my door rack spice shelf and look so cute! I organized them all alphabetically, not including color words (so black pepper, red pepper, and white pepper are next to each other, but cayenne pepper is under "C".) Sometimes, I admit, I just stare at my spice rack for a while because it looks so cute. I hope you enjoy my review! Please click "helpful" if you agree.

It would be perfect if it weren’t super expensive
Works great. It’s being used to store tea and looks very cute. Took one star off because it’s pricey.

It works! I wanted the container for Kimchi that doesn’t smell in the refrigerator. This jar is perfect so far!

Perfect for storing soup
I like to make soup but don’t want it to take up lots of shelf space in the fridge. Thisvertical profile works great. I also bought a similar jar from Dweck (?) which was stupid because the clamps and rubber ring come off and could easily be lost. Le Parfait is all one piece and goes into the dishwasher. Big plus.
