ATS Totally Voice Activated Telephone - Answer, Dial & Hang-Up with Only Your Voice

This was a dreadful purchase. The thing took hours to program, after which it never did recognize my sister's voice or commands. I have never encountered worse technology. On top of which, when I returned the thing I received only $181 of my $249 purchase price. I would advise prospective buyers to beware.

Very disappointed ! Bought for use by low vision family member, but was not dependable in recognizing her request and then frequently dialed the wrong number. I even contacted the supplier and followed their suggestions … no help! Just to add to the frustration , audio quality in handset is not good😖BTW Amazon accepted my return with no questions or hasstle 😜

The voice recognition feature did not work at all. It could never recognize the words my 91-year-old mother was saying. For a very expensive phone, the tiny screen was scratched. The display was too small for her to read. It appeared to be a cheap plastic product. Sent it back.

The concept behind this device is excellent for a visually impaired person. Unfortunately, we found the voice recognition too inconsistent to be of value for my wife's 98 year old mother. It only recognized her commands sporadically, so became too confusing for her use.

I can pick up my comcast remote and tell it what I want to watch right out of the box, why can’t this phone do the same? I can ask Alexa any question and she can understand and reply to anyones voice, with today’s technology is it that hard to have a landline phone do the ame? Followed directions on how to set it up and it seemed like it was great, filled my cup with ice from the fridge dispenser and it dialed 911, simple conversation in the kitchen and it started dialing a number, (my mom who has dementia, the reason we bought this and who’s voice we programmed it to was not even there). Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

I read the reviews on Amazon that said this product didn't work! I spoke to someone from the ATS company in advance of ordering it from Amazon. They were very nice and made it sound like the phone system was easy to set up and be used by someone with vision impairment. Spent the nearly $270.00 for the phone and it arrived on time. The setup is hella-tedious, and became down right aggravating for me and the person who was supposed to record their voice for recognition. It's impossible - and I've setup lots of systems before! Don't order this phone!

The phone works great for my wife, who has macular degeneration and is legally blind.However it was very difficult to initially set up. We needed the help of our daughter, who has excellent hearing, to understand what the phone was asking for. The documentation was just minimal, because we had to discover what worked by trying variations of our responses.

I bought this for my aunt in a nursing home. It makes random phone calls to different people apparently triggered by the TV and then doesn't recognize her voice. To be so expensive I expected better.
