Guardian Gear X-Fine Chrome Snake-Chain Dog Collar, 12"

I do dog training and trialing with my miniature poodle, and I pick my collars carefully. I like using a nice slip collar for training and while in the show ring. The problem was finding one to fit my little guy. Very hard to fine one that fits his 10.5 inch neck. I will only use the snake style chain because it is classy and doesn't tangle in the dog's coat. This 12" collar fits just right, both going on and off and while he is wearing it. The diameter is also a nice size for a little dog. I'm so pleased . . . finally!

I need time to tried it

Not good for long haired dogs. I got this to use for showing, but it pulls my dog’s hair and causes him to yelp. Not great for the show ring! It may be fine for short hair dogs though.

This is sold as 4mm and the tag says for mm, but my ruler says 2.5mm. I have a 4mm rope I bought from West Marine and it's much thicker so my ruler is correct and I will have to send this back. I really want a 12" 4- 5mm snake chain.

These are plenty strong enough for my Chihuahuas . 16 inches is too long except for walking - much too big to leave on a tiny dog. The difference in beauty between the snake chain and ordinary chains is rather amazing. I would not bother trying using these on a strong dog that is pulling.People complain that they won’t Conrad their pit bull, and I have to wonder what in the world were they thinking ? These are SHOW LEADS for dogs who have already been trained and whoLike following directions.
