I'm OBSESSED with this stuff!
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter to wear like "mommy's makeup" on our summer vacation. I bought this along with a little mirror for her purse and some clear shea butter lip gloss. She kept it in her purse and kept saying I need to do my makeup. Little did she know that she kept putting on sunscreen! My husband thought I was a genius!! She has sensitive skin so I was a little nervous but it worked great on her skin and didn't cause any breakouts. She has olive skin and didn't burn once. We were on a cruise in the Caribbean so I was a little worried about it the intensity but WOW, so great! I'm completely different from her. Forty years old, natural red head and very fair skin. Now I'm using this as my morning makeup when I wake up and do drop off. I do my morning facial routine and apply this after my moisturizer has dried. It translucent but gives your skin a really nice airbrush finish. I put some clear lip gloss on and I'm good to go in the morning. This is great for the summer when I feel like I'm sweating off anything that I put on. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I know it says it's for kids but it's great for the whole family!!

Hard to figure out how to use but great product
I got this to use on my 8 month old who is blonde blue eyes with fair skin. The only bad thing I’d have to say about it is even while following the directions it took me almost 20 mins to figure out how to get the powder to come out through the brush. Once I did it worked great. The product itself is great and easy to apply and is especially good cause I can put it on his scalp without getting sunscreen all in his hair and making him look a mess. He doesn’t seem to mind when I put it on him unlike some other types of sunscreen he will get fussy with. I usually use this as the first layer on his body and use another sunscreen on top of it. I mostly bought it for his scalp and face.

Ok, but disappointed by the choices made by the company/product lines
Good:- Easy to use once you figure out the "unlock" mechanism and how to shake it to get the product. It's not difficult, just something you have to get used to- No heavy lotion, which means I use it more often, it easily travels and can go into a pocket without risk of spraying or squirting, etc.- Nice, soft brushBad:- Expensive. It really doesn't take very long to go through one of these containers if you use this as regularly as you should, even if only used on the face. At $26 each, it adds up SUPER fast. I've purchased other brands/similar items that I personally don't feel work much better or worse for 1/4 the price.- Not refillable. This is a nice container that the company is pretty much charging you $10 for that has to be tossed each time you buy it.Confusing:- I wish I understood the products from this company & the packaging BEFORE I bought this product. I think this powder formula might be the same as the adult "translucent", but the difference being that this package is "locked" and meant to be single use vs. the adult version that is $8 more, but refillable. My math sorts out that the powder refill is sold for $16, so the powder is worth about $16, the disposable kid's container is about $10 of the cost while the reusable adult container is about $18. If you have or can buy a refillable powder brush for $18 or less, I would go that route and just buy the powder refills (which, ideally should also come in some different sized bulk containers if you're giving someone an option to subscribe to refills. If you have multiple kids and take this on a vacation, you could easily use it up in a week.) If you want to have the branded container and think you'll be using something like this longer term and are going to apply the product to the kids or they are old enough to use such an item that can "open", go for the "adult" product. If you don't know if you'll like this product, this is the "cheaper" way to try it, but if you think you will like it, go for the adult one with the refills (or use your own brush and just buy the refills or do some research on other companies) and save yourself a (little) money and piece of mind about the waste created.

Powder does not come out.
I can only review this for it's deffectiveness in functianlity, not the SPF because nothing was coming out of the brush. I should have believed the reviews when I ordered it. The reviews are absolutely right, the powder doesn't come out. Doesn't work, doesn't dispense anything no matter how we tried, no powder came out, it was so frustrating. Returned it because I need my $28 back.

My kids couldn't wait to get sunscreen on!
I have always done a liquid that I rub on my children's faces, and it is always quite a dramatic experience for us all. I purchased this product as I am trying to switch to only mineral based sunscreen. Despite the instructions, I could not figure out which of the blue parts to twist to open and had to look online. It's the middle blue part! Anyway, once I got it working and applied to my kids' faces, neck, and ears, they were running to me (instead of away!) when I said it was time to put sunscreen on the next morning! That's a win! I assume the sunscreen worked fine- no burns. We were at the beach, so I was reapplying sunscreen often. I did not reapply this brush on kind after they were wet because I was afraid the brush would get gunky though.

100% worth it!
Trust me, just buy this sunscreen. I know it’s expensive, but weigh the cost vs the pain of wrestling with toddlers. My 18 month old has never gotten a sunburn while I have been using the BOB sunscreen. It’s easy to apply on a squirming toddler and so much faster than trying to use lotion. I won’t say he likes me putting it on him, because he doesn’t, but he dislikes it less than lotion. It has great coverage for those harder to get spots like ears and little toes. I’ve used it myself on my face and worked perfectly! We have been using this all summer and it still hasn’t run out.
