Written well and informative
I have always been quite competent with practically all aspects relating to automotives but, admittedly, I have always been quite ignorant when it comes to electrics (and maybe unfairly judging of them) until I came across this book. To put it briefly, it's clear, concise and clearly well-researched.I enjoyed this read because the author doesn't pick a bias, he keeps everything neutral and stays straightforward and honest about both the pros and cons; this is what kept me interested from start to finish. To be honest, I am more of a diesel guy myself (I love my trucks), but I can still say that I enjoyed the read and learned a lot. I won't be making the transition over to an electric anytime soon, but my wife has always seemed interested in the idea, so it's a definite possibility... At least now we'll be able to make a more informed decision.

This is not a book, it's a 30 page booklet, also it's really mediocre and basic in it's contents.
A complete waste of money and time, here you will not find any useful information, the book is about 30 pages and uses a BIG font to fill the pages, It's very superficial and does not provide any piece of relevant or practical data, shame on the authors for attempting to cash-in easily from the readers interested in know more about electric cars and this new industry.

Nothing gained from this book versus free info online
Greencarreports.com has everything contained in this book and much more for free. Don't waste your money. I was looking for something with more detail and depth for real costs in using ev versus gas cars. Nothing here about chargers, solar panels, or home battery packs.

Excellent Read for Anyone Contemplating an Electric Car Purchase!
Wow! What an eye-opening book. Brad Durant does an excellent job of explaining how electric cars actually work, as well as illustrating the good things and bad things about them. He also provides an in-depth history of the electric car which I found very fascinating. I myself have worked in the automotive industry for years and there is a lot of information that even I didn’t know until I read this. Don’t let the size of this book fool you… it is jammed packed with everything anyone needs to know about these vehicles. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is contemplating purchasing an electric vehicle somewhere in the near future. Overall… very useful and great read! 4 Big Stars!!!!

Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money! This book is absolute garbage. It is written in the most simplistic way possible, most likely lifting generic info from free sources. There are tons of formatting and spelling mistakes. It is almost as if the book is written for 3rd graders but uses big words here and there.

Limited Use If You Are Shopping for an EV
This book is worth about $2. It reads like the work of an undergrad who wrote a term paper over the weekend by copying and pasting from Wikipedia. Look elsewhere if you are shopping for an EV.
