Seemed to be good
Used this on a bunch of joints on a wood stove pipe. On the part that got really hot it activated some kind of expanding mineral to fill the joints. I assume it's probably vermiculite. It smoked a little on the first use, but after that everything got sealed up and the wood stove isn't pumping smoke into the garage any more.*I didn't do the initial install. I was just finding a cheap solution to something someone else did. *
