Works well
Used on a VE pump on a old international tractor. Works well and is easy to set up and use.

Low Quality Indicator kit with poor fitting locks. VW Diesel, not needed for timing TDI engines.
The dial indicator is rough and jumpy, you need to average out the results and hope it will be accurate enough.I used this kit to do the cam, pump, and pump lift timing on a VW IDI 1.6 engine.The cam lock is thin and you could find other flat pieces of steel to do the same thing.The injector pump lock pin is a loose fit and a socket would work just as well or better.I ended up buying other tools to do a better job. I have very low confidence in the accuracy of the timing done with this set. I suppose it is better than nothing but there are better tools out there for timing these diesel engines.The description mentions VW TDI with the AHU and 1Z engines, the dial indicator is not needed on TDI pumps. The cam and pump locks can be used from this kit but they are poor fitting and allow the cam and pump to rotate. You can use any flat steel and shims to adjust the cam, a socket can be used to lock the pump.The AHU, 1Z, ALH TDIs need a proper scan tool to adjust the pump timing.The price of this kit is too high for how low quality it is.

Very nice tool! Worked perfectly!
The media could not be loaded. I used this to put a Zexel (bosch) injection pump on a B3.3T Cummins in time. It worked great! 5/5 recommend!

Chinsy to say the least. You'd be lucky to time your injection pump correctly.
The media could not be loaded. Pretty chinsy for 60$ if you ask me... For a precision process like timing the injection pump on your diesel, I would not choose this tool. It's definitely not up to the task... As the misplaced sticker on the box says, "born online!" It has no real-world shop practicality if you take their word for it! The dial indicator is subpar; who knows if it's calibrated. I have no idea how this stuff is even supposed to go together. Nothing is labeled and neither are there any instructions to follow. I was nervous at first when opening the package because it sounds like a box of Legos does when a kid is shaking it around at Christmas time before unwrapping it. Although this sounds like that without having to shake it! Buyer beware.

Did not work
I ordered the kit, and the threads did not mesh. The rod would not stay in place that attaches to the gauge inside the sleeve therefore I couldn't use it, so I sent it back for another one and gave the company the benefit of the drought. I was wrong the second one had the same problem. I was trying to time a pump on a vw rabbit motor in a sailboat. This put me back several days, I was very disappointed and do not recommend for anyone timing a pump.
