Exactly the material I needed.
These were perfect for our block printing craft with kids. They are like the craft foam sheets, but much thicker and more rigid. I cut each sheet into four pieces, and the kids can draw with a pen to make their own stamp blocks. No carving or sharp tools necessary, the pen makes a perfect indented line. We even flipped them over to make two stamps out of each piece. Then rolled with ink and pressed the paper to the block. When done, just washed with soap and water, dry and it's ready to print another color. Perfect material for this project. Plus they were delivered quickly and were well packaged, I would definitely order these for my next project.

Works great!
As I had read in previous reviews the smell seems a bit overwhelming at first. Smells like rubber but that does go away in a day or two after being exposed to the air.

Great Crafting Material
Great for craft projects, although the smell is horrendous. Take 'em out of the plastic package and let 'em air out for a long while before use, which will help, although that smell seems to be endemic to the product. My sheets were supposed to be 6mm thick, but Amazon fulfilled the order (not the supplier) and sent me 3 or 4mm instead. It worked out okay, so I didn't try to have Amazon replace them. This is an excellent and easy-to-work material for constructing 28-32mm wargaming buildings, ruins, walls, and the like. It also has a great many uses for other craft projects for those not into wargaming and modeling. Sliced into small 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips, it can be used to easily replicate a row of brick or block (just make a small v-cut every 3/4 inch or so), making construction of brick/block walls (fences) and sides of buildings easy and quick. Just offset every other row by half the length of a single block to keep courses looking realistic. Cuts very easily with a sharp hobby knife (xacto, craft, carton cutter, etc.) and will hold together nicely with white glue (after adequately curing). For extra strength on 90 degree corners and such, just push a pin through here and there along the length to help hold the pieces together while the glue dries. I haven't tried painting the material yet, but I can certainly do so with a glaze of acrylic medium, spackle, white glue and sand (replicating concrete), or something along those lines. I haven't tried yet, so that's still TBD. Pretty handy stuff!

Very nice quality & well-made foam sheets.
These foam sheets are easy to work with and I think represent a good value for the money. I used them to create separate compartments in a custom camera case. I cut the sheets with a pair of scissors (this worked much better than an X-acto knife or a fine tooth jig saw), and glued the pieces together using clear Gorilla Glue.A couple of notes about using these foam sheets:1. Wash the foam sheets with dishwashing soap before using, and just lightly scrub them with a sponge. Dry with a paper towel. This takes away 95% of the smell, with the rest of the smell dissipating in a day or so.2. Use scissors to cut the sheets as this makes a square edge along the cut, and it's easier to make straight lines and curves.I gave the sheets 3 stars for "Adhesion" as this rating doesn't apply to this product (but 5 stars overall).

INDESPENSABLE
I have so many different uses for this adhesive foam. Of late, I have used it as an insert into shoes I have purchased online that are too large. I placed the foam inside the perimeter of the shoes, and my problem has been solved. I can now wear them without fear of the shoes falling off as I walk. They are also great to use as padding for the toe piece on sandals when they hurt my feet, and to place in my glasses arm-piece hinges so they fit tighter to my head. The adhesive is strong enough to hold tightly but is also removable. In my opinion, this item is indispensable. I hope this helps

Not actually 9" x 12". Also very stinky.
I bought this stuff to line a box that was, conveniently, 9" wide. I checked it several times to be sure, because that's pretty lucky that it would already be exactly right in one dimension. I am not usually that lucky. Two things happened when I opened the package:1) My olfactory senses were assaulted by an overwhelming aroma of off-gassing foam. It's strong. Get this stuff ahead of time, and let it air out in the garage or the shed or something, outside if you can. It borders on eye watering, it's so strong, and it's not even remotely pleasing.2) The dimensions are nominal, not actual. Imagine my surprise when the 9" width of this foam didn't fit all the way across the 9" box I wanted to use it for. I measured it again to be sure I hadn't lost my mind; sure enough, the box is still 9" across. This foam is actually 8-7/8" x 11-7/8". Disappointing, because I won't get the yield I expected given the inaccurate dimensions in the description.Other than that, it seems like durable foam. I think once it airs out a bit, it will do an admirable job of making a custom cutout box liner.
