Not perfectly flat on top but still works OK
For our new place we decided the first thing we would buy would be a wine fridge. Priorities, right? Haha. Anyway, our new place is mostly carpeted and there isn't anywhere to put a wine fridge in the kitchen. Our bar area is carpeted so I knew that we would need to put the fridge on something hard for many reasons. I searched for a simple metal pan but none of them sounded like they would work well for our purposes. I decided to go ahead and get a water heater stand. They are sturdy, not terribly ugly (we like the industrial meets farmhouse decor) and relatively cheap. Plus I knew that it could handle the weight of the fridge and 30+ bottles of wine. This stand may be overkill as we will never come close to the weight capacity but it was the right size and the right price. The only disappointing part is that the top of stand isn't flat. It dips in. I thought maybe this was intentional since it is to be used with water heaters but nowhere in the description is this mentioned and I have never known a water heater to NEED a dipped stand. It works well enough and just took a little extra leveling effort with the legs of the fridge but it has been working well so far. We are a month in and this elevates the fridge to the perfect height, provides a stable base and fits in well with our decor. I may paint it matte black later on but for now it is good as can be.

Amazing value, great product, strong!
Really nice, strong and amazing value. I’m very pleased with it as a boiler riser supporting a 50 gallon heater

Works great for holding up a mini fridge!
I searched everywhere looking for something to get my mini fridge up off the floor to where I wasn't hurting my back every time I had to use it. Everything was expensive and I just wanted something basic to get it off the ground without having to spend $40-$60... I saw someone mention this on a blog, they said they work perfectly and can handle mpre weight than you can ever put in a mini fridge so it will never break. It will last longer than the fridge. Its stainless steel and very easy to put together. Took maybe 15 minutes. I put other stuff down there sometimes and I'm going to build a shelf to sit on the bottom cross beam to hold more cleaning type stuff but its more than capable of handling anything I put on it and it saved me a lot of money. Definitely worth what I spent. If I ever buy anything else needing a stand like this, I'll be buying another one.

Water stand serves its purpose well
I used this stand to hold a 50 gallon hot water tank to replace the tank that had died. The old stand was no longer stable (kind of a box had one side that had slightly collapsed) so I needed to replace it. I had some concerns about sturdiness but with the addition of the cross braces it is pretty solid. The local hardware store did not have a model that had the cross bracing on the legs in stock and could not deliver one for a week so as I needed a stand ASAP as we were without hot water without it. It was delivered from Texas to Seattle as Prime free overnight (it took an additional day) which is amazing as it weighs 21 pounds. As others have mentioned the nuts, bolts, and washers were loose in the box but they were all there. It appears the intent of the bag they were in was to organize them until they were placed in the box as the bag is pretty flimsy.FYI - it was slightly taller than my old stand but fortunately the tank just fit in below the fixed plumbing. I also had to fiddle with the exhaust duct as well.

Good value, good quality and easy to assemble
I purchased this to use as a base/shelf for my heavy solar power batteries. It was actually the only item I could find anywhere that would work for this purpose. It will hold two of my large batteries. They weigh about 130 pounds each. The unit was very easy to assemble and I suppose I was one of the lucky customers who received all of the nuts and bolts required to put it together (according to some of the online reviews). This is a good quality utility stand and I plan to purchase more of them when I add more batteries to our solar energy project. The finish is good and I don't believe there will be any problems with rust or corrosion. I was very pleased with this purchase. The price is excellent for the durability of this stand.

sturdy but didn't use
This arrived quickly and seemed to be very sturdy. I had to return it though because it made my water heater sit too far off the ground.

Sturdy a.f.
Used it to hold a 50 gallon fish tank. It was vertical and heavy. Study, easy to build, good product.

Multi-use
I am using this to raise a small (36-inch) 2nd-hand refrigerator off the floor to be high enough for comfortable use by a couple of older folks who do not 'bend' very well anymore. The only trick is to set it on something so that the sharp metal legs do not damage the flooring. These stands were made to hold a small water heater on a concrete floor. Therefore, one needs to set it on something if one is using it on a floor that is less tough than concrete. This thing is GREAT. It does what I need for it to do; the price was reasonable; and it was easy to assemble.
