Theater Solutions TS80W in Wall 8" Speakers Surround Sound Home Theater Pair, White

Been surching for months for in wall speakers for my surround sound to complete my HT. All I wanted was a good quality sound and not so pricey at the same time. I looked at many brands probably every brand there is, I had a hard time deciding because the ones I wanted were to expensive and just didn't feel right spending that much on a surround sound, and the less expensive ones I wasn't so sure they would sound good. Finally came up on the TS65W I saw the good review and the fact that it had Kevlar woofer made me consider it and to top it of it was $57 for a pair, so I decided to take a chance on these.When I finally got these out the package I was impress with the look, weight and built quality I was eager to hear how it sound, so for a quick test I unhooked the wires for my center and hooked it to the TS65W and it sounded good without being installed and insulated behind it. This got me excited I couldn't wait to install it. A couple days later on my day off work I bought some insulation and a dry wall knife from the Home Depot I already bought my in wall speaker wire from amazon. Using the wall template cut the whole in the wall put the insulation being put the speakers in and hooked it up to my denon receiver it was ready to go. WOW! The sound out these speakers blew me away the insulation made a difference for sure. I mean the quality I was getting was amazing sound was rich and clear it surpass my expectation, to be quit honest I doubt if any of the high end expensive speakers sound better than this. These speakers really made my HT come alive. I watched a few movies that was playing on TV first was ALEXANDER and WOW! I was amazed especially one seen were it was raining in the movie I felt like I was in the rain it felt that real. Next I switched to GANGSTER SQUAD and the gun fight seen was crazy I felt the bullets flying everywhere at one point I almost ducked down LOL, it really felt so real. And remind you these speakers haven't even been broken into yet so I can only imaging. Over all I love these speakers the sound quality, built and price is just amazing. Please don't hesitate to buy you want be disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone.

I wrestled making this purchase because I actually thought the price was too low for high quality speakers and I was unfamiliar with the brand. I also have high end front speakers connected to an Elite receiver and was concerned about matching. However, after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try for a rear surround application and am happy to say my initial concerns were dead wrong. The packaging was top notch with excellent templates for mounting and painting. The only initial concern I had was they seemed a little light for such high wattage and large magnets. Installation was easy. I did build a foam box in the wall behind them and removed the foam grille insert. After a week of use I can say the sound is nothing short of excellent. Great lows and high clarity. The only slight concern I have is the pivoting tweeter only has a 15 degree range, fine for my application but something to consider for high or angled walls. Overall I give a top rating because the sound is as good as speakers I have used costing more than 4X the price if not better. Very, very pleased.

If you’re wondering if these are as good as big name speakers THEY ARE! The install is mindless, just trace and cut. I assume that people were breaking screws because they were over tightening which would damage the speaker anyway. I have 2 xTS50w for my front speakers and 2x TS65W for my rear speakers and the sound quality is absolutely perfect. The only thing you can compare this sound quality to is a movie theater. Extremely crisp highs and perfect mids.. the lows are even pretty good. Pair them with a half way decent sub and you’re not going to want to leave. I can not speak to the center speaker as I decided to install it too late in my project but I’m sure it is the same quality as the others. I’ve only run these for about 10 hours so far, if anything happens I will update my review but currently I could not be happier!

These things sound pretty good. No they are not Polk Audio quality and for the money I wouldn't expect them too. Overall the quality is good. The build of them looks solid and of decent quality. You have to pop out the metal grill to mount them so be careful, they can bend when you pop them out and not lay flat. There is not much low end on these at all so bass is muted even with a decent size wall cavity. Use insulation or acoustic wadding to prevent a hollow sound.

Turned my old intercom system into a Home Sound System. Easy to install. Very good value. Replaced all intercom speakers with these speakers throughout house. Much improved sound and very attractive.

I recently moved to a new home that has a much larger room from my media enjoyment, TV, movies and console game playing. I needed speakers in wa ll and they needed to be larger than what I currently have. I've read the reviews here and checked a couple of other sites and decided on this set for my rear surrounds. The instructions could use some pictures to go with the steps but I figured it out pretty quickly. The speakers went in easy with no issues. After I connected my Yamaha receiver to the rest of the speakers I ran the setup using the mic that came with the receiver. I placed the mic in the sitting area, it adjusted the levels and volumes. Then I place Star Wars episode 3 blu ray in my Xbox One and listened to opening battle sequence. It sounded fantastic. The only issue I have is not the new speakers but my existing ones that I need to upgrade this Christmas.Overall a great price and sound for these speakers.
