the True Power in our Hearts
This book is a profound compendium of wisdom combining Paul Pearsall's realizations from his own successful struggle against a deadly form of cancer which attacked his lymph system, his professional experience as a neuropsychologist specializing in healing the immune system, the stories of heart transplant patients whose taste or habits were dramatically changed to those of their donor , the research of scientists into energy cardiology, and last but not least, the crucial role of cardiac energy patterns in healing the patient and in the interaction between therapist and patient. Reading the book was an engrossing and rewarding experience seasoned by just the right amount of self-help tips. There is nothing superfluous here – which is rare in books of this type. I cannot commend it highly enough.Paul writes :" Every cell in the body is literally bathed in the info-energy conducted from and by the heart. Since the heart is a primary generator and transmitter of info-energy, it is central to our system’s recollection of its life—its cellular memory." This may sound far-fetched until we consider that our heart is our most powerful organ, the largest generator of electromagnetic energy in our body, 5000 times more powerful than the brain. Our body's magnetic field is essentially heart-based, and nourishes the brain (our brain waves ride our cardiac waves), just as the fetus is nourished by the cardiac energy of the mother. We carry within our hearts a permanent acoustical portrait of our mother's comforting cadence. Heart cells are the only cells in the body which pulsate. It is no wonder that a recorded heartbeat played in a nursery reduces the crying of newborns by half.Paul claims : "All hearts exchange information with other hearts and brains. Cardiac energy patterns have dynamic interactive effects. When one heart sends energy to another, that energy becomes a part of the receiving heart’s memory."When we are attuned to our heart's code, we have the resilience to laugh at life's inevitable and sometimes absurd ups and downs and we tend to "give love to others first" , two ways of strengthening our immune system and regaining energetic balance. Research shows that sudden cardiac death often occurs about an hour after little 'heart-hassles" which occur every day, but the plaque which builds up and clogs our arteries, leading to a heart-attack is often the result of prolonged anger and resentment, based on a humorless view of being deprived of our entitlement. The heart's code offers a way to regain control of our orchestra of cells by slowing the pace of the music and basing ourselves on the adage. “When things don’t work out right, take ’em to the left.”In fact most heart transplant recipient patients change their musical preferences to match their donor's.Paul writes:"Even though doctors may regulate the new heart’s beating with medication, that heart’s cells still have their memory of their original rhythm".Heath is not just a matter of positive thinking but involves dealing with our "shadow", the dark side of our personality and Churchill's success in tackling his own depression was a key component in his ability to understand and tackle Hitler. Paul writes ". Full awareness of the influence and origins of one’s cellular memories and willingness to use their energy no matter its nature provides the necessary instability that creates the adaptive stability of great Minds."When we are sick, our healing depends on rebalancing by tapping into our heart's code (our resonation response) which is the life force of all systems. "Cardio-energetic healing is based on this old but increasingly research-supported idea that “dis-ease” is a perturbation of the info-energetic system composed of the brain, the heart, and the 75 trillion cells in our body."Paul Pearsall is no longer with us. But the final words of this book are his legacy " Every beat of your heart shapes the memories that will forever be your legacy, the infinite echoes of your soul that will resonate long after your body and brain have ceased to serve your soul's needs."Read the book.

Where are memories stored? Check your heart.
Fascinating read. True stories. Opened my mind to new ideas challenging the things I was taught about where memory is stored. Can memories be transferred when an organ is transplanted? Even weirder.

Excellent Science rpoving the Bible
I heard of this book 13 years ago, and recently when I asked the Lord "What do you want me to preach on? " He answered "the Heart", and that took me back to a time when I learned of this book. The writings of Dr. Pearsall are so enlightening and opening of the eyes of my heart that It is changing lives all around. His references and bibliography are well documented and true. It is a captivating read that explains that the heart is so much more than a pump. The "L" energy he writes about comes out at you as you read.God used me today to preach a word to a group and He used a connection of "The Heart's Code" and The Bible to Make a Holy Spirit revelation to the group.

Very important book. But a crampy read.
This is a book I have known about for a long time. I know it's a very important book, for the whole world. And that the author have been sitting on this story and material for 12 years before publishing says something about our sheep-head understanding of what we humans are.I dont know who this author have been writing this book for. But it's not an easy read. At least not for me, and I have been reading and enjoying a lot of books. He's using a whole bunch of more complex wording and way to long sencences with a lot of comma splittings. I just had to skip sevel small paragraphs here and there. It was just annoying.Anyway, the short little stories presented from research and his pations are a good read.

Great information
Really reccomend the book. Im actually convinced that if more people followed what was right in there hearts more often and was in balance. The world would be so much better. This book gives so much evidence and science behind the heart why its cells remeber how it affects everything around us etc. The reason i gave it 4 stars is because i thought there would be some tips on how to connect to the heart or maybe i missed it. However read it the information gives you a life changing perspective atleast for me.

The Power of Love Triumphs
A most inspiring and encouraging revelation of the heart's bio energetic effect on us if we learn to listen, not just with our ears only but when we place our sense of hearing in the heart, we are guided like GPS on our life's journey. In the good book it mentions "my cup runneth over" isn't it speaking of the heart being filled with love, and when the cup is full it spills out meaning it is full and that's enough. When the heart is full of love it spills out and is poured into the ones we care about, unlike the love of power which only wants more and more getting diminishing returns as a reward while the heart is full of joy in its outpouring, giving freely, no charge except for the joy that is received in the giving.

WELL WRITTEN and quite amazing
Basically, the author makes the salient point that "Everything is one"...We are all connected to our pasts and are creating our futures every minute we are alive. The stories are amazing and only illuminate for me how little we understand at the present and the new frontier is our minds....and our hearts connection and that we are all not only made of stardust, but we are all made from the "Energy" called LOVE.
