CasioUnisex 36.00mm Quartz Watch with LCD Digital dial and Silver Mesh Bracelet Strap A700WEM-7AEF

I'm unsure as to why this is classed as a 'women's' watch, as in the description of the watch shows it as 'unisex.' Definitely doesn't show itself as just a women's watch, but one that guys can wear too. So I bought this watch after seeing a review of it online. Got it a few days later (quick delivery by Amazon as usual), and was very impressed by the watch. It came packaged well in a Casio box, with the usual booklets (warranty, how-to guide etc.) The watch itself is beautiful, and a very classy time-piece with that retro vibe about it that many know of Casio. The light is great at night, and easily shows the time without any issue. The buttons are easy to press and don't need excessive force when changing the time or starting the stop-watch. I did think at first that the mesh strap was going to be an issue, as I had read that a few people mentioned how it felt big on their wrist. But the strap seems virtually fully adjustable and mine is about a 6 inch wrist give or take and I found the perfect spot to move the latch to, so the watch felt secure around my wrist, but not too tight that it was cutting off circulation. Can hardly feel it on the wrist, as it fits nicely on it and isnt at all bulky like some watches. It's a really good-looking watch that is pleasing to the eye and a great take on the retro pieces back in the 80's. I wouldn't recommend wearing this watch in the pool or in water, as I don't believe the water rating is suitable for such activities, but is water-resistant (washing hands etc). So if you're looking for a digital watch from a brand that has a good selection out there, this could definitely be the one for you!

I bought this simple Casio watch to replace an old Casio that's buttons were starting to fail.The best feature is its beautiful stainless steel woven strap that can be easily adjustable to fit, unlike leather or plastic or the chunky steel straps that are always too tight or too slack.Functionally the watch dates back to the early Casio digital watches, it has no "modern technology" but is a simple timekeeper easy to set.

That's precisely what I desired: a stylish, lightweight bracelet that displays the time.

First of all this is NOT a woman's watch and is definitely a unisex watch (see Casio marketing and photos). It arrived in a really nice box with a simple design. I went for a mesh strap as I wear another watch with a mesh strap and I find these really comfortable to wear. It is also adjustable to.Setting up the watch is really simple and took less than five minutes. It is a great retro watch and for £30 you can't go wrong. The light is bright and you can see this very clearly in the dark.For me this a great casual watch that I will wear most days and makes great alternative to my analogue watch.

What more can I say? It's a Casio.. God tier.. Only downside is the size, so obviously, my wife is now the owner after 2mins of receiving from Amazon

Like the Casio A1000 I'm not sure why this is listed on here as a womens watch Casio doesn't specify, while it would work well on a woman, it's a very pretty watch, I'm a giant hairy hefalump with a 7.5 " wrist & I think it looks good on me, the mesh bracelet will easily accommodate an 8.5" wrist, odd if it is a womens watch. It's a smaller watch for a man for sure but smaller watches are coming back, get onboard. It has a pleasing monotone elegance helped by it being wafer thin, 6mm I think & it weighs nothing. Cliche I know but you could genuinely forget you're wearing a watch it's that light & unobtrusive. I also bought the white dial Casio A1000 & the mesh from this watch (A700) will fit on the A1000 with some thinner spring bars & vice versa. The A1000 white dial doesn't come with the mesh only the black dial version so it's good to be able to swap. I can highly recommend the A700 grey dial it looks so much nicer than a £38 watch has any right to but be warned these Casio digitals are very addictive, It's very difficult to stop at just one.

Amazon are listing this as a woman's watch, it's not, it's a unisex watch. I'm male with a 7.5 inch wrist and it looks great. The mesh strap is adjustable for wrists between 6 and 8.5 inches. It's very slim so it shouldn't get knocked against tables and door frames and it doesn't have any problem sliding under tight shirt cuffs. The +ve lcd screen is extremely legible and the amber light is bright and illuminates the screen evenly. It's very comfortable on the wrist, there's no weight to it and the mesh band doesn't cause sweat like rubber straps do - it can be worn all day without any discomfort.
