Star Wars Ships
I just bought this set for my son's 5th birthday and he loves it. 19 of the most popular ships from Star Wars will keep him playing for quite some time. My brother even commented on the fact that the set really doesn't leave out much. Maybe a land speeder and that would be it. Overall, if you know a kid who is a Star Wars fan and loves the ships, this is a great buy. I expected the ships to be metal, but they're a tough rubber, which I feel will help them last a lot longer. And the detail is pretty remarkable considering the small size of the toys.

My very first set of Star Wars toys
I got this as a present from my dad when I was little when he was coming home from out of town. It was one of the greatest times of my life.

Micro Machines, the best ever!
Micro Machines was one of our favorite toy companies for many years, until they were closed down in 1998. Their tiny miniature toys were wonderful, and you could carry a dozen of them in your pocket when the car size one were only 1.5 inches long. They had really nicely designed toys from Star Wars, including the "Star Wars Master Collector's Edition" from 1994. This set includes a huge collection of 19 vehicles from the first 3 movies of the original Star Wars trilogy along with stands to display them on (although we preferred to play with them).including:6 vehicles from Episode IV, "A New Hope" including an X-Wing Starfighter, Jawa Sandcrawler, Imperial Star Destroyer, 7-Wing Starfighter, and the Millennium Falcon.7 vehicles from Episode V, "The Empire Strikes Back", including a Tie Fighter, Snowspeeder, Imperial Tie Bomber, Slave 1, Bespin Twin-Pod Cloud Car, and the Imperial AT-AT.6 vehicles from Episode VI, "Return of the Jedi", including Imperial AT-ST, Jabba the Hut's Sail Barge, B-Wing Starfighter, Speeder Bike with Rebel Pilot, Imperial Shuttle Tyderium, A-Wing Starfighter.1 Limited Edition "Super Star Destroyer Executor" you could not get anywhere else, and was only available in this set.Great toy for collectors or just to play with, takes up a lot less space than the regular size Star Wars toys.

Decades of Fun
I got this for my tenth birthday almost twenty years ago along with the second Star Trek Micro Machines collector's set. The little ships still hold up after all this time. I use them nowadays to decorate the area around my computer but, I also like to tote one around in my pocket if I know I'm going somewhere boring like work, school, or waiting in a doctor's office. It gives me something to fiddle with. I just can't describe how much fun I've had with these little trinkets over the years. One great thing about Micro Machines is that they're so small you could fit about 70 of them in a small box. I use and old Handy-Wipes box. Just don't leave them exposed to heat for a long time or the vinyl will melt and you'll have floppy ships.
