Wonderful purchase
Purchased this to use in the classroom. We use it to add a stick a day for the days we have been in school, kindergarten. Its a great product, has last and held up very well.

Kindergarten Must Have
This is perfect for helping students comprehend how the base ten system works. We “bundle” the tens and then tens to hundreds. Great foundation for place value.

Sturdy, but could be better
I would say the quality and value for money are great, most like this are $50. However, some of the pockets could be sown on tighter, the paper kinda flops around in the pockets.

Not enough straws
The pocket chart is holding up (received in November and first graders are handling it daily). The problem is that there aren't 100 straws which I need for regrouping to the hundreds place. I thought I would just use popsicle sticks but they are too big.

Extra visual help for homeschool
I love the pocket chart idea so much that I've used it with just about every subject that I possibly could use it for. This one was my newest addition to help with place value, counting by 1's, 5's and 10's, and more. The pockets are deep enough to hold the cards and the straws without either falling out, and they're stitched well. They're strong and that's something important to have in a pocket chart. I've had pockets give out after having it in use for a week. The cards fit perfectly without issue, and they aren't too small or too big to use daily in any setting. The straws are bright and colorful, so you can easily distinguish between the values (1's/5's/10's/etc.). The durable rings in the top corners make it easy to hang up virtually anywhere. The pocket chart itself could be used for other purposes, such as a reading chart, chore/reward chart, or even the family/household schedule.

Great quality, Just as pictured
I got this to help my kiddos get a head start on math place values and I am really glad that I did. Having the place values for the hundreds, tens and ones be separate colors and the cards and straws match each place value makes it so much easier to learn these values when there is a visual reference to connect to. I like that the chart can be hung up and there are clear pockets for storing the items. Great for the classroom or homeschool math skill learning!
